While still recovering from a badly sprained/strained ankle & broken heal bone, I've been trying to return to as many of my normal activities as possible. Most importantly, in addition to normal walking, I regularly swim laps 3 to 4 times each week during which I need to protect my weakened foot and ankle.

All the other ankle supports I found were too bulky, complicated or uncomfortable. This is the only splint I've found that is not only extremely comfortable but also allows me to wear my regular shoes... and my "Zoomers" (shorty swim fins)! When I first used it in the pool, I wore it inside my Zoomer - worked okay, but the stabilizer tended to rub a bit. However, I found that it's much more comfortable & equally supportive to put it on over the Zoomer. (Just pull the splint on & above your foot, put on the swim fin & then put the splint into position and secure it over the fin.)

Not only is the fabric breathable & light weight, but there are no lumpy supports or seams to irritate. It's a plus that it's also quick drying... but I'm still about to order another one so I can keep the original in my locker at the pool! I highly recommend this for any athletes in need of ankle support.

The stabilizer is easy to put on, and has extra support on the sides. Velcro makes it adjustable for everyone.
The Sales Pricing Advertising is FALSE....It said (pack of 2) for $11.69 each, which I expected to mean a pack of two for $11.69.
I ordered 3, which I thought were "2packs" at $11.69. Guess what? I got 3 "single " pkgs. at $11.69x3 SINGLE Pkgs.each.

these ankle braces are great. I have used them consistently since rolling both ankles several years ago playing tennis. The only - I have is that Amazon's product ad says that they come 2 to a pack. that is not true. they come one to a pack. The secondary seller was very good about it however [...] and send me a second one because I was misinformed by the ad on the internet site. if you need reasonably priced, solid ankle support, you may wish to consider these.

I have a pretty weak ankle that I always seem to hurt, this definately helps a lot and is really versatile when playing basketball...
