Futuro Support Socks Dress Socks, Men's, Large, Black, Firm, Reinforced Toe/Heel, 1 Pair

I've needed support socks since bypass surgery and, after trying several brands, settled on Futuro as definitely superior. Since the best price I've found was $13.99/pair at CVS drugs, I was pleased to find what appeared to be the same socks at $8.99/pair...so I ordered 3 pair.

It turns out that, although the CVS and Amazon socks have the same model number and are packaged in identical boxes, the socks are very different. The CVS socks have a sticker on the box with a series of numbers ending in 00 whereas the Amazon sticker ends in 01. The CVS socks are woven with a soft fiber & cooler weave, have finger markings to designate the right side of each sock and are much easier to put on. The Amazon socks are woven with a hotter nylon without finger markings and are very difficult to put on. I quickly returned the Amazon socks and went back to buying the CVS socks albeit at a higher cost...it's definitely worth it.

The Futuro Men's Dress Socks gave very good support without being too tight. They were a little difficult to get on at first. I thought that they wouldn't be comfortable, but I was wrong. They cradled my legs all day and were snug and comfortable. I'd recommend these socks to anyone who needs a good support sock.

These socks were wonderful. It's hard to find nice looking support hosiery for my husband. These are not only nice looking, they feel wonderful.

They give great support on the calves. A little tight at first over the shin area. Exceptionally well produced design. Should stand up to wear and tear.

I got these for my hubby, but I'm pregnant and having some swelling of my feet and ankles so the doctor told me to get the support hose. I thought these were very good and black in color so I'd try them. I LOVED THEM. They matched and did the trick. The swelling stayed down and I looked stylish (for men, huh...?).

I have been wearing the Jobst brand support sock since 1985. I consider Jobst the standard that all should be compared with. I find the Futuro brand as good as and half the price for the same compression (20-30 hhMg) I think it is an excellent buy and I am very satisfied with them. I recommend them and plan to buy several more pairs. I also feel that the Jobst brand is over priced. I am happy I decided to try the Futuro brand and report my complete satisfaction with them.

These socks go too high, especially for a man. If it's a hot day it'll be too hot to wear them. They're not very comfortable, but they do give support. In my work place, I don't really stand all day, and it's not useful for me to wear them, but I'm sure if you do stand all day, they'd be beneficial.

These socks were very comfortable and supportive. I suffer from varicose veins and this type of product is recommended by my physician. This is a very affordable alternative. They were also attractive and I'll probably invest in a few more pairs.

I purchased these socks almost a year ago and they are holding up very well especially considering I do nothing special to maintain them. All I do is throw them in the washer with the rest of my clothes. Other brands of support socks I have used generally start losing their shape and support within a year without special handling.

I was at the doctor the other day for a check-up and when my doctor saw how good the socks looked and the support they give he was very complimentary about them. He liked them so much that he is going to purchase some also.
