4.0 out of 5 stars Large Inserts
I bought these thinking that I would need them for my Fuzzi Bunz One Size diapers. I found they were a little too big for them. I actually use them in my Swaddlebees and Blueberry diapers for overnight protection. They fit into those diapers a little better. 1.0 out of 5 stars Bulky, synthetic, catches on everything, not very absorbant, February 28, 2011
This review is from: Fuzzi Bunz Diaper Inserts, Large, 3 Pack (Baby Product)
First, these inserts are very bulky. I would expect for how bulky they are they would be more absorbant, but they are not. I have tried the Fuzzibunz hemp inserts and they are much thinner and absorb much better than these.

Next, they are made of synthetic material, which off-gasses. Of course not as bad as disposables, but my goal in cloth diapering is to eliminate off-gassing exposure, as well as conserve petroleum resources. By cloth diapers using "Stay-dry fleece" and polyester, they are using petroleum resources. It annoys me that all-in-one's and pocket diapers that do not contain fleece(polyester) are so hard to find. I have settled on the Happy Heinys organic one size pocket diaper, which has a hemp/cotton liner that does not cause diaper rash because hemp is naturally antibacterial.

These inserts also catch on EVERYTHING. Lint, strings, dry skin, other fabrics, everything sticks to these. You can not even hold them without them snagging on your hands.

Like I said above, I now use the hemp/cotton inserts by Fuzzibunz and I really like them. I only need a size medium for my 1 year old, and that will hold her for a few hours while we are out and about, even if she pees twice. The size larges are very large, and one will hold her overnight with the diaper I mentioned above. It has an absorbant liner also, so if you are using a fleece-lined pocket diaper I would use a medium and a large for overnight.

4.0 out of 5 stars My favorite insert, December 10, 2009
I love these inserts for my sons diapers. I use fuzzi buns diapers and I find these to be absorbent, sturdy and some of the best I have tried. I also use a hemp soaker and love it just as much, but this one is pretty great too. I agree with the other review about it catching lint, but taking a few extra steps, that issue can be eliminated. I have a front facing lint catcher and if I don't make sure my catch and the area in front of the door are clean my inserts come out with beards. A little bit of cleaning and prep has minimized my lint problem.
Overall these inserts hold up pretty well, they are one of the few don't go bald after a dozen washes and don't get skinny. I have used them for about a 10 months and a few are wearing but that is expected with constant use.

I love these, I haves very heavy wetter little boy. I use these with the sun baby diaper, by folding them down about a quarter, then stiffing them in the diaper. The extra padding in the front for my little buddy gives me little worry for leak. Wash them several times before you judge them. Microfiber takes quite some time to break in. When it is new and not laundered several times, they will not absorb much at all. Great product....

If you've bought fuzzibunz, you know they come with at least one insert per diaper. Our baby was about three months old when he started daycare and the first day one of his teacher's flushed a liner down the toilet. So we needed more and these are great. We actually had a couple different sizes come with the diapers originally and these are the biggest of the various widths. They're just as thick as the originals and are working great so far!

3.0 out of 5 stars fuzzi bunz inserts (used w/ g-diapers), March 30, 2011

I bought these after reading multiple reviews from people using them with G-diapers... but for me, they're almost 2 inches too long (in the medium Gs)! Other than that, they're very absorbent, and a good value.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great value for the money, December 15, 2010
This review is from: Fuzzi Bunz Diaper Inserts, Large, 3 Pack (Baby Product)
I have used these for my six-week-old daughter since she was two-weeks-old with Thirsties diaper wraps and have no complaints. They are absorbent, cause no rashes and have held up being washed every two to three days. I gave them a four because they do collect lint if put in the dryer, so I hang dry them.

I bought a lot of our FB used and they had inserts of questionable origin. I doubt they were original FB and if they are, they've gotton much better. I decided to upgrade all of my inserts with the four ply (not three ply, which they also sell) inserts. What a great idea! When I finish with the diapers I'll sell them again and even with replacing the inserts, practically make money on diaper use! I love the sized FB.
