4.0 out of 5 stars Great cloth diaper - doesnt leak as much as others tried
Plain colors are steadfast after many hot water washes. Snaps are super easy and do not stick to everything in the wash like velcro when you forget to "close" the velcro. With snaps, there is no remembering to do anything pre-wash. Snaps are also adjustable to baby's growing and changing sizes. Outer cover is completely leak proof, but if the diaper is left on too long...

Outer cover is completely leak proof, but if the diaper is left on too long (4+ hours with one insert or 8+ hours with two inserts) then it will most definitely leak. Also, if baby is in a carseat for a prolonged period, it will leak...something about that position I think. Other than that...if in swing, jumper, vibrating chair, on floor...no leaks.

We use 2 inserts at night and like stated above it can last us from 10pm to 6am. By that time it is super soaked and near ready to leak. The elastic band button area is where the leak first occurs. The elastic band thing is a good feature but it takes SEVERAL tries to find the right combo for your baby and by that time s/he has surely grown so you have to readjust!

You do have to wash it on hot the 3 or 6 times prior to first use or IT WILL LEAK. I would recommend going to pinstripesandpolkadots.com to see which detergents are best for use on cloth diapers. This will alleviate having too much build up and stripping later on. We use Country Save or Planet and that works great! We use Imse Vmse soap as a sort of stain stick and ALL POOP STAINS ARE GONE IN ONE WASHING without any pre-soaking! But we do wash according to the directions - hot wash, cold rinse, dry on low for 60 min. So no buckets for our house soaking things...but then again we are still on breastmilk only ...so we shall see when baby gets to solids.

1.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Awful, October 24, 2011
This review is from: Fuzzi Bunz One Size Cloth Diapers 6 Pack Gender Neutral Colors (Baby Product)
Half our diapers are Fuzzi Bunz, the other half are BumGenius. I avoid using the Fuzzi Bunz whenever possible. The Fuzzi Bunz are all wrong.

Half the Fuzzi Bunz are made in Turkey, the other half in China and they are definitely not cut the same. It doesn't matter much though, because neither actually fit the inserts. The inserts are too wide and get bunched up leading to leaks and a fussy baby. The inside of the outside liners are grippy, which just makes stuffing the oversized diaper inserts harder and slower. A small thing, but when it's a nightly ritual it gets annoying fast.

The adjustable elastic seems like it's a good idea, but in practice it's too bulky and stiff to get a good fit around the legs.

The fuzzy inside liner is a horrible choice of fabric. First, it stains very easily and is hard to get clean. Secondly, despite the marketing, it wicks moisture which is precisely what you don't want it to do. The wetness should go through the fabric and get held in the insert, not spread throughout the entire inside of the diaper and marinate the baby. At the elastic leg holes, the fuzzy inside liner is sewn to the outside liner so that a strip of fuzzy pokes out. This naturally wicks all that pee directly into the clothes, making every Fuzzi Bunz diaper change a onesie change as well.

None of the cloth diaper brands really fit newborns, but the Fuzzi Bunz were rather comical. God help any woman who gives birth to a baby that fits in Fuzzi Bunz.

Our baby's first words will be four letters long and it will be the fault of Fuzzi Bunz.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great diapers, deceptive photos., October 9, 2010
These diapers are great. I love them. I received them from a registry for my soon expected baby boy and I tried them on my 3 year old when they got here just to make sure they really go all the way up to potty training size. They fit very well. The inserts are bulky so I registered for some small Joey-Bunz liners to reduce the bulk, but every diaper comes with two liners, so that's great! Definitely won't have to buy medium or large sized ones for these diapers. My only complaint: I know the info says the colors will be based on availability but I can't hide my disappointment that I got 2 baby blue diapers, 2 turquoise blue, and 2 dark blue. I got three shades of one color! So the picture shows variety, but there's definitely a chance you could end up with multiple duplicates and not a very exciting range of colors. I know I chose "boy colors" but dear god. Since I wanted a wider range, I should've chosen "neutral colors", but then I'm sure I would've ended up with two lilac purple, two beige, and other potentially undesirable combinations.

There is nothing wrong with these diapers so I didn't want to give a low star rating, but DO be wary about the colors! I was so bummed, I just wanted to come on here, give one star, and go on and on. But they're fun, soft, truly one-size, come with two medium/large liners per diaper, easy to adjust, and generally are great diapers so the outer color isn't the end of the world.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cloth diapers are great!, August 27, 2009
I have used these really great diapers since they came out this spring. They work really well, and I love not having to buy disposables every week! They have already paid for themselves! Really easy to use, too.

Awesome product and awesome seller. I bought these and BumGenius diapers. Although I found a cheaper deal with BumGenius brand diapers. The FuzziBunz are definitely a better quality diaper, and I would purchase this brand again and again. They wash out cleaner and easier than other diapers. Also, the fit is pretty much a done deal with FuzziBunz. It's really a terrific product. The seller processed this transaction quickly and efficiently. I recommend this very highly!

1.0 out of 5 stars 50% Snap failure in first few months, and warranty beware!, September 7, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Oh, I like these diapers, I do. I just worry that there is a massive production run that you want to avoid with FuzziBunz. I have a few dozen of these diapers, and I'd like to give some warnings:

1. Don't buy these diapers until you are SURE you're going to start using them, because the one year warranty starts the moment you purchase them for your unborn baby, not the date you start USING them. So you could miss 3-4 months of warranty if you're not careful. And you'll want that warranty. So if you have unused fuzzibunz waiting for the baby, return them so the clock starts ticking when you actually use them.
2. Be warned that 50% of these diapers have failed in just 3 months of use. They have had multiple (several on one diaper) snap failures. We're not rough people, and we don't rip the diapers off the wee baby. We're having trouble with MOETUR 01 and 02 numbers (look under the tag of the diapers), and watch for tearing and ripping out of the diaper snaps. I'll update this post as we have more than a few months use of these diapers.

Return/warranty process:

1. Even if FuzziBunz doesn't require it, photo document your damaged diapers before you send. I just had them ask me for photos after they authorized shipping and I had already mailed the diapers to them (they changed their minds).
2. You will get the glorious chance to PAY for shipping of diapers that just failed, and it takes them several weeks once they arrive to send anything back. I sent 2 diapers via priority mail, which means they should have arrived in 2 days, and more than a week later, still no e-mail noting that they arrived in the support center, which according to FuzziBunz Support, they always let you know when they arrive by e-mail. It then takes 2-4 business days to send back the diapers, and we're not sure what shipping method they use (Fast? Ground? I'll keep you posted). But in any event, assume at least 2 weeks without a diaper, because it takes a full day for them to even read your request to send back a diaper and give you a support number and an address. If you had as many fail as me, get some disposables.
3. FuzziBunz uses an electronic, on-line system to log your support, and believe me, they can turn off your support if they lose your diapers in their support center, even though I pinned the support number with safety pins to each diaper. So, friends, make sure you copy and paste all screen shots of all correspondance because otherwise, you won't have any record of the conversation.
4. Do NOT report a new support case if you have a previous support case open (and unresolved). Then, FuzziBunz gets extra confused, combines your support cases (on their end, to save shipping), and then you get to wait until your last diaper arrives and gets cataloged before your first warranty diaper ever makes it back to you.
5. Need two cases open at the same time? Try using your friends and family for different e-mail addresses, phone numbers, and names so you have different cases in the system.

And then, make sure you keep extra good records of original and warranty diapers. If they choose to replace your damaged diaper with a new one, the warranty starts all over again (they don't tell you that, but the law says it does), so you'll want to keep your printed correspondance and your return shipping labels with dates as proof of purchase, since you won't have a receipt.

Just another interesting note: There were over 600 support cases logged in 2 weeks for returns, if the case id's I was given are any indication of their warranty problem. That's a lot of diapers failing, since I had multiple diapers I was returning for one case number.

Keep good records if you want to use this diaper, and maybe we should all start a protest to make them pay for the return of warranty items that are just a few months old, especially if 50% of them are failing.

1.0 out of 5 stars Leaky!!, June 12, 2011
These diapers worked great when my daughter was a new born. Then, they started leaking like crazy overnight when she started sleeping longer (about 8 hours)! Even with two inserts stuffed in them, which are then super bulkey, which makes me worry about hip issues because she can't even close her legs properly. So, I emailed Fuzzibunz, and they sent me a totally new load- which now leak even worse, even during the day. The issue is, they changed the manufacturing of their fleece on the inside of the diaper. It doesn't wisk liquid away from the baby, the liquid sits on the diaper, and leaks out the sides/back. These are terrible. The company must not have done much testing on their new fleece. The old Fuzzibunz were ALRIGHT, but again... Still leaking issues. We were using a very gentile eco-friendly detergent and following all of their laundering suggestions. We recently went out and bought two different cloth diapers, which work MUCH better- NO LEAKS!! The one she slept in last night was Happy Hineys. She slept for 8 hours straight in this diaper and didn't leak at all! I was thrilled not to have to change all of her bedding and clothes at 3:30 in the morning for the first time in months! It was great. Then we had her in Bumgenis, which she slept in from 4-8 with no leaks... I highly recommend trying these before you decide to waste your money on leaky diapers. These are the worst!

4.0 out of 5 stars Tried several cloth diapers. Liked this one best, March 15, 2011
This review is from: Fuzzi Bunz One Size Cloth Diapers 6 Pack Gender Neutral Colors (Baby Product)
We purchased four different cloth diapers to see which we liked best before purchasing a dozen of them. I liked the Fuzzibunz the best for a few reasons. Not as bulky as the others we tried. I like that you can make them tighter or looser with the elastic rather than just with snaps or Velcro on the other brands. These just seemed to fit better than the others. Lastly, the others came with different size inserts or inserts that had snaps. I like that the Fuzzibunz have one size insert and you can add an extra if more absorbancy is needed. Much easier than trying to sort through dozens of different inserts after they come out of the wash.

2.0 out of 5 stars Inadequate absorption by 18 lbs, March 8, 2011
This review is from: Fuzzi Bunz One Size Cloth Diapers 6 Pack Gender Neutral Colors (Baby Product)
At first I LOVED this product. Great absorption, easy to snap on, looked cute & comfy, and easier to use than Flip diapers at first. By the time my daughter reached 16-18 lbs, two problems became clear:

1. [-2 points] The water resistant cover does not overlap to the inside. Thus the stay-dry lining comes in contact with clothes and they get wet 90% of the time. Argh!!!
2. [-1 point] The inserts just don't absorb enough for her to stay dry 2-3 hours without compression leaks... which again, are worsened by the stay-dry liner coming in contact with clothes.

Yes, they still look great. However, I only use them occasionally when my Flip diapers are in the wash. I'd rather use disposables than change her clothes 5 times per day. Very sad, considering the cost and otherwise good design.

I now like my Flip diaper day set very much [4 stars]. My daughter is almost 8 months-4 months now I've used mostly Flips and nighttime disposables. The only reason I subtract a star is not liking the fit much for young infants, inadequate absorption of single insert for night use, and the tendency for poop to get onto the cover. None are deal breakers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Got them for a friend-she absolutely loves them!!!, February 22, 2011

I purchased these for a friend (I started off with 3 to see if she would like it) and she is constantly raving about how great they work and never give her daughters diaper rash. Oh, just FYI she couldn't figure out for the life of her why there were two liners in there. Apparently there are polyeurethane (sp?) liners in the diapers so she was washing them every time her daughter "used" them. After researching them online she figured out that they came with two liners so she could just take one out, and use the next one.

She absolutely loves them and says they work perfect on her daughter...I am ordering more for her right now-plus they are great for the environment, and save on purchasing diapers, so who can argue with that?

The diaper bag that comes with it is used by itself (my friend told me to check out the website for more info) and you just was it as is with nothing else-she says it is really handy to use. When drying, put on low setting as to not "melt" the liners.

Good luck!!!
