5.0 out of 5 stars 365 Days of Bucky, Rob, Satchel, and Pals, November 2, 2006
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Get Fuzzy 2007 Day-to-Day Calendar (Calendar)
Whether it's the war between Bucky Katt and Fungo the ferret, Rob's ongoing battle to maintain control of the household, Bucky's never-ending quest to consume a monkey, or Satchel's innocent view of the world, there's something everyone can enjoy and relate to in this little gem of a comic strip. It is one of the most witty, refreshing, and downright funny stips to come along in a long time.

Best of all, this daily calendar provides me with a laugh almost every day. If there's any downside to it, it's that I don't throw away the previous strips. There are just too many good Get Fuzzy strips to justify getting rid of them.

If you're limited on space at home, or spend your day at the office in a veal cube like I do, this would be the perfect addition to bring a little laughter to an otherwise mundane day.

I'm just about through my 2006 calendar and have an order in for the 2007 version. I need my daily quota of "Get Fuzzy"!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Way To Start The Day, December 6, 2006
This review is from: Get Fuzzy 2007 Day-to-Day Calendar (Calendar)
"Get Fuzzy" is the best comic strip currently being penned. Darby Conley is able better than any artist to capture the emotional lives of animals in a manner that is both honest and hilarious. People who love animals gravitate towards this strip for good reason: Satchel and Bucky are the perfect anthropomorphic pets. Satchel is devoted, goodhearted, and sweet, while Bucky is clever, ornery, and has an addled brain filled with many mysterious thoughts (his desire to eat monkeys is one of the strangest and funniest.) The point is that these animals (and the others that inhabit the strip) in combination with their owner, Rob, are able to make us laugh at the funny things in life, and especially at the funny things that go on in the lives of animals.

"Get Fuzzy" is warm, thoughtful, mature, and funny. This is a great way to start every day. My only problem (which I understand that many others share) is that I had such a hard time throwing out the old strips, now I have to buy the books too!

Highly recommended, especially for animal lovers!

4.0 out of 5 stars Get Fuzzy Calendar, April 9, 2007
This review is from: Get Fuzzy 2007 Day-to-Day Calendar (Calendar)
Darby Conley must be an animal lover, or has grown up with cats & dogs all his life. His 'animal' wit is astounding. Satchel is simply lovable Bucky Cat is, well, as sarcastic as a cat can be. If you want to have a LOL day, every day, this is a must for any desk top.

Every year Darby Conley manages to brighten our lives with the current adventures of Rob, the human owner of the single-minded Siamese Bucky and the loveable, big-hearted Satchel, a Sharpei-Labrador cross. The 2007 Scratch - A - Day calendar is no exception. With Bucky intent on fame and fortune, often at the expense of Satchel's wallet(!), we watch Rob try to be the voice of reason in the household. And, just in case you think Bucky has no hope of redemption, just know that when the chips are down, he is often (surprisingly!) the one to do something nice, just to make the others, usually Satchel, feel better. A lovely family, and a highly entertaining daily treat!

5.0 out of 5 stars Get Fuzzy Calendar 2007, February 23, 2007
This review is from: Get Fuzzy 2007 Day-to-Day Calendar (Calendar)
I love Get Fuzzy cartoons and I absolutely can't live without the 365 days a year calendar. Each day depicts another glimpse into the lives of Satchel and Bucky which in some small way always reminds me of my 3 Girls (Suzie, Trixie and Gracie). We can't help but relate to the lives of Bucky and Satchel since they always seem to hit upon something that happens in our own lives.

Keep up the good work.

Thank you, Pattie K

5.0 out of 5 stars Always good for a laugh, February 8, 2007
This review is from: Get Fuzzy 2007 Day-to-Day Calendar (Calendar)
Get Fuzzy is something that can always be counted on to make me laugh. Sometimes out loud. Other times it just makes me grin. No matter what it always lifts my mood. Getting a new strip everyday is even better so the day to day calender is great. It is also nice that the strips are run in order so the small stories in the strip do not get messed up and are all the more funny when they are linked together the right way.
