I am so sad to see that this and other dog handbags have mysteriously gone out of stock. I got this bag for about $38, including shipping and handling.
I was looking for a replacement for my plush wolf handbag I owned before, and stumbled upon Fuzzy Nation. I ordered this particular one for the colors, since I would be taking it everywhere and I didn't want it to be as obviously dirty as my wolf with white legs, now stained grey. It arrived promptly in the mail with a short handwritten thank you note on the receipt. Immediately I noticed how much careful detail went into this product. It is carefully shaped and detailed to look as realistic as possible, the pawpads are leather (or fake, I can't tell anyways) and posable legs. That surprised me in a good way, since it can stand up even with a load of my wallet, bus pass and phone. It isn't meant to hold more than that though. Although it is fairly big the padding around the inside pouch makes it difficult to fit a lot in. The inside is made of silk though, and is very soft and beautiful. Certainly a designer touch. The handle/strap is also very well made and reminds me of a collar. It is very sturdy and connected solidly to the purse itself. The fur is just a little coarse to imitate a real Shepherd's fur, but is not annoyingly coarse, rather a great blend with softness. It is very well made and I came back to order the Sheltie, but was dissapointed to find it perhaps permanently out of stock. I will look very diligently to try to obtain another one.
