I don't have SACD, so this is only about the music (the sound is fine on the normal stuff).

Without getting into details, let's just say that 'Persephassa' (and of course 'Pleiades'), this piece, and Dufourt's 'Erewhon', probably form some kind of Trinity of pieces for multi-percussionist music. If you don't have them, don't bother: it's all here in these few pieces,... ALL of it!

This piece sounds the most like 'Persephassa', but with a totally different agenda. This is Deep Space music, planetarium music of the highest order (even including the rhythmic cadence of 'live' signals from space!). In five sections, It builds from the depths, to crashing, towering climaxes, and back again, and here, and there. Surely the SACD component would be mind blowing, as I can barely perceive the spacial aspect!

Get the Xenakis, Get the Dufourt, Get the Grisey
