I would return if I had not missed the return window.

The best part about this is that there is no air leak and the seal between the gauge and tire valve stem is very tight.
Arjun Varma
The gauge size is very large, making it easy to accurately read pressures.

It's not often I give a product an unabashedly glowing
review. Some of the best products can have minor flaws
which make them less than perfect.

I have yet to find any flaws with this product. Not only
do its readings track exactly with my accurate (but hard
to seal) digital gauge, but one look at the design detail
tells you that it's thoughtfully designed.

A persistent problem with air pressure gauges is the seal
made with the tire valve. My Accu-tire gauge, for all its
accuracy, was an exercise in frustration when it came to
getting a tight seal, without which the pressure reading is meaningless. Looking at the Accu-tire, I was led to wonder why the manufacturer hadn't considered guiding the gauge onto the valve with a short length of solid tubing, together with an o-ring seal inside.

Accu-gage has done just that with their product. Using solid brass fittings (clearly designed to last), the hose end is pushed onto the valve through its guide tube, making a tight seal all but guaranteed. If you need to use a tire inflater to add pressure, an adapter is provided for that purpose, and the guide tube can be locked in place while the tire is being inflated.

I can't find anything not to like, and would have paid more to get a product of this quality.

I purchased the Accu-Gauge to replace my 30-year-old Brookstone gauge (of a similar type). I am thrilled with the quality and functionality of my new tool and consider it a good investment. After testing it I ordered one for each of my three adult children.

PROS:
Spring-loaded connector effortlessly and firmly grasps the tire's valve;
Top-mounted bleeder valve allows you to accurately bleed an overfill down to a desired pressure;
You can connect an air hose to inflate your tire at the same time you measure its pressure;
Readings correlated almost perfectly with my other gauges;
Quality materials should yield decades of cost-effective use;

CONS:
A bit bulky compared to other gauges (but still fit into my car's crowded glove compartment).

SEPTEMBER 2010 UPDATE: During normal use the gauge's spring-loaded connector became unscrewed and fell to the ground. Luckily, I was able to recover the tiny flexible washer that also fell out (...the unit will not work if it is missing). WARNING: BEFORE EACH USE MAKE SURE THE SPRING-LOADED CONNECTOR (i.e. TIP) IS SECURELY SCREWED ON.

I just bought this Accu-gage EZ air check and the Accutire MS-4350B Programmable Digital Tire Gauge. There is no comparison. The Accu-gage clips onto the tire valve easily, quickly and without letting out any air. The tire pressure is instantly readable. You can press the release valve to let out air if overfilled - or add air if needed by simply hooking up a compressor to the gauge hose as you would directly to the tire valve stem - both without removing the clipped on gauge. The valve reads the added air pressure instantly. Also seems well built. Highly recommended!
The Accutire works well IF you can seat it on the tire valve without losing significant amounts of air (see my review at that product site) but doesn't allow adding or releasing air.

Addendum on 7/17/2013: The gauge suddenly began leaking air when measuring pressure. I unscrewed the clip and examined the rubber O-ring which was in like new condition. I replaced it into the clip and screwed it back on. Still leaked a little. Then I noticed that the other end of the hose which screws into the gauge was partly unscrewed. I rescrewed it firmly and re-checked a tire. Voila - no more air leak. So be sure both ends of the hose are firmly screwed in. My gauge is stored in the glove compartment of our Honda Civic so probably slowly became unscrewed with repeated use - and maybe vibration on rough roads over several years added to the loosening. Still highly recommended and still accurate!

I like this tire gauge's ability to add air while still monitoring the pressure. The bleeder valve that allows you to let air out of the tire while still tracking the pressure is nice too. My one complaint is that mine doesn't hold too well to the tire's valve stem. I usually have to "re-attach" it 3 or 4 times to get a good connection. Other than that it does the job and provides accurate pressure.

I'm one of those people who some times has trouble getting the alignment just right with the traditional "stick" tire gauges with the angled chuck. The EZ Air Tire Gauge makes the procedure a cinch, though -- straight in and out, with no more than a puff of air from the tire when you attach or detach it. The gauge itself seems pretty accurate and the entire assemble feels quite rugged. For use as a pressure gauge, I'm QUITE satisifed with it.

It also has a connector at the other hand that lets you inflate the tire through the gauge. It works with the air hoses you find at most gas stations as well as the screw-on connectors on, for example, the TyphoonMax TX300 portable compressor units. I haven't used this with the gas station air lines myself, but I have used it with my TyphoonMax compressor. The gauge will not give a steady reading while the compressor is on and inflating the tire. The gauge needle vibrates quickly up and down in a blur between two readings while the compressor is on, but you can still see the pressure increase looking at the lower reading of the blurred needle. You can also just switch the compressor off from time to time to check the pressure for sure. It's certainly much easier than swapping back and forth between the compressor and the gauge. The connector on the EZ gauge is probably the only real complaint I have. While it attaches and detaches easily from the tire for quick readings, the spring-loaded piece that actually holds it in place on the valve stem (when you need hands free operation, like for working the compressor hose) will some times not grip very securely and you'll have to jiggle or remove and retry it. It's never taking me more than a couple of tries to get a secure fit, though.

Finally, as a minor nit (but I feel worth noting), the gauge is oddly shaped and it may be hard finding space in, say, your glove compartment or other confined storage space. It isn't BIG, just...oddly shaped.
