Sly Stone alone is One of the Forefathers of Modern Music period. His approach to Musical stylings and hybrid grooves are second to none and these songs are all timeless. his songwriting and cleaver word play and Grooves are standards of Modern day Pop Music. Sly and the Family Stone have influenced and inspired so many acts it's not even funny and Sly hasn't fully gotten his just due as a Musical Genius. Great Strong collection and a must have.great band,songs and versatile.

Sly & The Family Stone / The best of... (Epic - 20 track single CD): Even if you own Sly's two or three masterpiece albums, there are still a ton of hits that came from their lesser albums. This Hits CD fills the gaps perfectly. This is also an excellent CD for those looking for just one collection of Sly's classic work. A five star hits CD.
