"Cobrathon"
In order to raise $5 billion, Cobra holds a telethon. The money will be used to disseminate a computer virus capable of disabling every police system from Scotland Yard to Interpol. As a bonus, everyone watching has a chance to see G.I. Joe's Lifeline and Scifi brave death-defying feats. While Flint and General Hawk try to trace the rogue transmission sent through a special decoder box to criminals worldwide, Mainframe works on cracking Cobra's virus. Flint discovers that Cobra's broadcast is emanating from Las Vegas, Nevada. It's a crapshoot getting their buddies out, but G.I. Joe is willing to take that gamble.
"Cold Slither"
Bankrupt, Cobra must raise money the old-fashioned way... illegally. Destro creates a computer program that adds a subliminal message into rock & roll music. Its special sound lulls listeners into a trance, turning them into mindless zombies. Next, Cobra forms a band called Cold Slither, which shoots a video and releases a record that three weeks later climbs to No. 1 on every music chart. Unfortunately you can't make enough money to fuel a military power on record sales alone, so Cold Slither puts on a sold-out concert. Once the coliseum is full, Cobra demands $100 million dollars ransom money for the safe return of every attendee. How do you save 100,000 people who don't even know where they are? Leave that to G.I. Joe.
