and these are the worst I've used. I've been in EMS and HEMS for years. After one call, the zippers on one boot separated from the middle. They were not laced in too tight, they are just a poor quality boot zipper that didn't work past one shift. The leather surrounding the zipper is thin and not of very good quality. Fortunately, I was able to pull down on the zipper and get my boot off. If you buy these, save the receipt.

This product is long and it does not fit my boots. I tried to oever lap it, but to be honest even though it would be the size of my boot (which is Rocky style boot) it is very hard to place it on the boot. The boot needs to be without any metal loops near the top for this item to fit properly, which the product does not mention. If you have metal loops, the zipper laces would always get loose very easy while walking. Do not buy this product if you have metal loops on the upper part of you boot, it would be a waist of money. also i believe that even without metal loops, this item would not work properly.

My husband really really wanted these and so I read the reviews and warned him that they didn't seem all that great, but we decided to try them anyway. For the 1 1/2 months that he had them, they were really wonderful, but eventually the eyelets starting breaking and then the zipper came off the track and the eventually broke all together. He finally resorted to putting regular laces back on last night. In theory they are a great idea, but they are made of low quality material and they can't handle the stress of being zipped daily. I wouldn't recommend buying them.

Could have used directions,

I am very happy with the boot zipper but I really could have used directions to show how to lace them into a boot.

I've put them in but haven't actually used them yet. They were purchased for my motorcycle boots and it's a little early here for riding. I'm looking forward to putting my boots on and off without doing up the laces each time.
