acrobatic stunts and spandex curves, March 22, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: G.L.O.W. Vol. 2 the Saga Continues [VHS] (VHS Tape)
GLOW could have been a lot better. The best parts of GLOW were the acrobatic stunts, the flashy colorful costumes, and the petite women.
-- Jungle Woman vs. Olympia. (5 stars). This match had lots of action and curves, nonetheless, I wish Jungle Boy would stay backstage.
-- Spanish Red vs. Americana. (5 stars).
-- The Major & Attache vs. Southern Belles (4 stars). Attache is funny, but Tarar is the best part of this match.
-- Ninotchka vs Little Feather/Ebony (3 stars). This match had lots of action, but few curves: Ebony was wearing her street clothes. Flambouyant costumes were partly why GLOW was a successful show, but they're missing here.
-- Cheerleaders vs Heavy Metal Sisters (3 stars). Match ends with Debb getting her big toe bit. Biting is violent and stupid. Some things just aren't funny.
-- Sally vs Palestina. (5 stars).
-- Hollywood & Vine vs Mt. Fiji (& little Fiji). (5 stars). Vine overacted everything and was quite comical in this match which had nice action and some great curves.
average rating: (4 stars)

This video has been released
on DVD. The DVD is exactly the same as the VHS, although the picture is a bit darker, the audio was turned up a bit too loud, and there are faint picture rolls throughout that were not in the videotape. All minor video and audio defects in the original VHS release are carried over onto the DVD.
