I will say this, they are affordable, look pretty cool and work really well a year after I purchased them.

I build a lot of computers and I installed 16 GIG of this memory into a media center computer build. The timings are set to 8-8-8-24 and they are running at 1.5 VDC in a Windows 7 operating system. They are very stable and fast. They are DDR3 memory with a nice Ripjaw® blue aluminum heat dissipater.

They are Intel XMP ready and carry a lifetime limited warranty. I have had very good success with these memory sticks and I ran memtest86 and I had no error messages. G.Skill® is a very good memory manufacturing company and I have never purchased a bad memory stick from them yet.

I recommend this memory for your next computer build.

This RAM is very good and cheap. Put it in my motherboard and the timings were correct and everything worked fine.
GSkill is very high quality RAM for a good price. Also this is the RAM Tom's HArdware uses in its builds so there you go.

This is awesome ram.
It's fast. Reliable. And you can overclock it. Which really is nice, but not needed.
Works great with my OC system. I OC'd the Ram, but found no real difference in performance. You really won't in the real world application.
It looks great in my system and that really does count.
No complaints at all. Fast Ram and that is all that really matters.
8Gb is all you really need. Crysis 3 thinks it needs all 8 gigs, but it only chews up to 4 Gb.

I chose this set of RAM as it was one of the few RAM kits that is specced at 1.5v & have non-obstructive heat spreaders.
It has XMP-1600 timings of (8-8-8-24-34 @ 2T). I found that it was not 100% stable if it's set manually to 1T. While it got no issues with Memtest, Linpack and etc, but certain games (eg: The Witcher) occasionally crashes to the desktop while using 1T. The said games runs fine at 2T.

My rig:
2500k+ (slightly overclocked at 3.5ghz with all cores loaded)
2x4GB PC3-12800 G.SKILL Ripjaws X
Biostar TP67B+ V6.2 (P67 chipset)
Radeon 4770 512mb
96GB V+ 100 Kingston SSD
3x SATA HDDs
550w CM GX550 PSU

How do you rate RAM? I will say this, they are affordable, look pretty cool and work really well a year after I purchased them. That's enough for me. I have yet to try overclocking them. If I do and find they do so particularly well, I will note that in the future.

The only RAM I use! Fast, stable, reliable and looks nice for enthusiast builds; can't go wrong with G.Skill! I've used this exact kit in a number of builds, love the lower latency (Cas8) for smoother performance. In the world of RAM, most will do "ok" but you get what you pay for and this is my go-to RAM kit.

It's been great so far. No problems. Performance has been good. Not to mention, it matched my all-blue build... Thermaltake Chaser MK-I, my Asus motherboard. I forget the product name right now, but it's an AM3+ slot that has blue accents...

Anyway, Windows Experience Index puts it at a 7.7 out of a possible 7.9. I'm sure that number is lower (scaled) in Windows 8, as new, better hardware is out... But even still, it's doing really well.
