I reviewed a lot of external drives before I bought this one. I bought this drive to use as a Time Machine backup and Windows backup for my MacBook Pro. It worked flawlessly out of the box using Firewire 800 on both operating systems, which was important to me.
I like that the manufacturer is local to me, and after a few calls before the purchase, I am confident if I have any problems, there won't be any issues should there be any problems with this drive if it fails. |
