This review is from: GA-VENT+BKT200: Vent Mount with Garmin Nuvi 200 Series Bracket (Fits 200, 200W, 250, 250W, 260, 260W, 270, 205, 205W, 255, 255W, 265T, 265WT, 275T) (Electronics)
The way my windshield is designed in my car the suction cup mount did not work. This vent mounting system works great, hold the GPS perfectly and is a great fix.

I wasn't sure this would be very good or not. After receiving it was very basic and cheaply made. When putting my gps on it and mounting to vent it would bounce around and even fell off a few times. I wasn't impresses. I will only use a suction mount from now on. Just my experience

I have a Garmin 260W and was going to be using it in Europe for 3mos. I bought the vent mount hoping that it was going to work in the various rental cars that I would be driving in various countries. Although it does take some finesse, it does work just fine in all the AC vents I came across. Sometimes it can be a little stubborn in some of the cars due to the location of vents in relation to other things in front of the vents which block your hands from easy access. All in all it worked just fine keeping the GPS in place and steady through the roughest roads Europe has to offer. If you push back about a 1/4" and lift up gently it slides out of the vents quite easily.
