I purchased this to replace the original mount I left in a rental car. The prongs on the mount broke after the 3rd use. The suction cup also did not grip the window very well. Very disappointed.

I ordered this piece after lending out my entire GPS system and then getting all but the bracket back. I was concerned that there might be a poor fit since it wasn't part of the original system, but it is just what I wanted and needed. Fits perfectly with the existing pieces and does exactly what it is supposed to do. I would definitely recommend it!

Tried for a few days to get this to stick to the window. After cleaning, wetting and trying every trick it might have clung to the glass for 30 seconds max. Finally went back and looked at my purchase, found that it was not manufactured by Garmin. I ordered the Garmin mount for a few dollars more than this one, and the Garmin works perfectly. Skip this (worthless) one and buy the Garmin mount.

Simply put this is junk. The suction cup will not hold, the material is a poor imitation of the Oem. While it may be more expensive to purchase the Garmin unit, it will at least work.

You get what you pay for. Lasted 2 months with limited use. Suction cup rubber is so brittle it cracked at connection to plastic bracket. Now useless.

It did not last for more than 3 weeks. The suction cup rubber can not last under stress while mounted on the windshield. Do not buy.

This device will not stick to the windshield at all. Totally useless. This is not a Garmin product, but a low quality knock off.

Attachment arm snapped as soon as I tried to put Garmin in the holder.
Very poor quality I'm afraid.
NOT RECOMMENDED

One suction cup bracket came with a new Garmin and I mounted it on the bottom center of our SUV's windshield. It works fine there, is very visable, and I'm very satisfied with the whole deal. The bracket could be described as somewhat delicate and will not take a lot of abuse, but it's good enough for the price. I bought a second mount for our other vehicle after I discovered it would take more force than I felt the unit could stand to detach the suction cup from the window. Installing the Garmin on and removing it from the bracket is no problem so I'm quite happy with my two car - two bracket situation. I would advise thinking twice before you window mount the bracket and know you want to routinely remove it. Mounting on the dash or console may be an entirely different matter, I did not go there.
