This thing works great, and salvaged my Christmas road trip. One tip, though. If you use the Garmin nuvi 660, you need to plug this thing into the black thing that clips onto the back of the unit, NOT the unit itself.

I purchased this item because my old power cable broke. This is identical to my old power cable and it works just as well, so I'm very happy with this purchase. If this power cable lasts as long as my old power cable did then it will be worth the money I spent to buy it. Buy this power cable if you need it, it's worth the money.
