Uncomfortable but they do the job,

I think these compression stockings are uncomfortable as any full length compression stockings are going to be but they do wonders for swollen ankles during pregnancy. I would consider ordering a pair a size taller than you are as this will make it easier when you make frequent bathroom visits to readjust everything. All of the discomfort associated with wearing these is forgiven by how much better my legs and ankles feel at the end of the day.
