i was at first reluctant to buy this game, specially since it has so many bad reviews, but it works excellent for me, the sound quality is priceless, to set it up is quite easy and just takes a minute or two.
a previous reviewer said that the speakers are too close to the ps2 and generate a whole load of heat, well you can just slide the ps2 infront and then they won't be side to side.
the sound quality is unbelievable, the sharpness can leave you breathless.
i think its a good buy.

After reading a few of the previous reviews from other
gamers, I decided to buy the Intec sound system. While playing
Capcom's recent platform title (MAXIMO), I noticed a big
difference in sound output. The game seemed livelier than before.
Crispier sound is better, I thought to myself. I also tried
Ace Combat4 on my new toy and the sounds from the aircrafts
engines were awesome.
The fact that you can also add other audio components
is definitely a plus! I recommend this system to all avid
gamers who cherish the sounds as well as the graphics of any
PS2 title! Rock On!!!!! INTEC.

This product may look like an nifty add on to your Playststion 2 but the fact is it is totaly opposite,the first problem I have with it is the magnets in the speakers ruined my Playstation 2,I had to go out and buy another Playstation 2 system,the way the product was designed has the speakers/magnets to close to the Playstation 2,my second problem is the fact that the sound quality is very poor,very poor base and loudness,even the newer TV sets with just one speaker sound much better than both of these speakers,for your own satisfaction and prevention of your Playstation 2 from wrecking from this product stay away from this .

This sound system is just junk. Two little dinky speakers and that's it. This is not an item you shold be interested in. If you want to feel the walls shake get a sub and some satellite speakers and hook those puppies up. Now that's power. If you want to hear an anoying pew pew sound than buy this. I sure don't.

Nope, you dont want these. Why?, you ask....

1. The Magnets in the speakers + the processor chip in your PS2 = Bad Mojo.
2. Speakers Generate heat, PS2 Generates Heat add those two together and you have a overheated PS2.

Now it would be better if the speakers werent so close to your PS2 but they are as close to it as they can get.

You may not exp. problems right away, but you will.

I liked the play station 2 sound system, because it was fun and had great sound to add to my stero system and play station.

The Game Sound System only works if your TV has RCA connections. I own a Pioneer Plasma Display (ADX1459) with S video inputs and RCA audio inputs. I use this Display for my computer (the few games I play on my pc), TV, DVD player. The system did not work on this Display, but when I connect it to my kids 13 inch TV with RCA inputs for video and audio it works just fine. If you connect using S video connections don't bother getting this cause it will not work.

This is a good product-period. It has a good sound for a very good price. It's good for anyone but especially for people who uses their's to listen to music.

This is by far one of the best sound systems ever! Its stereo sound is awesome. The one problem is that both speakers need to be plugged in tightly. I own one but the right speaker is often not working, so I have to pick up the whole thing and push it in harder. The sound is great, but once again, only good if it works.

This is a great little add on to any PS2 because it allows you to connect other video sources to your TV (DVD,VHS...). It has 4 AV selectors. As to the sound it is on the week side but I use it in conjunction with my computer subwoofer and satilite speakers and it sounds great.
