Amazon advertised this accessory travel pack for the Garmin Nuvi 205 series (which includes the Nuvi 255). Amazon's information was incorrect. The case does not fit the Nuvi 205 or 255. It leaves about three quarters of an inch of the display screen sticking out and exposed to potential damage. Don't waste your money on this accessory travel pack. Amazon also charged me shipping costs for returning this travel pack, even though the need to return it was because of Amazon's inaccurate description of this product. In the future I plan to verify Amazon's product descriptions through another source. If I am unable to verify Amazon's product description, I won't purchase the product from Amazon. Buyer beware!!

The USB cord was needed and worked, but even though the G.B.S. worked it was too short to cover all of the instrument. So we bought a new one with a zipper.

The case is a must to protect your gps unit. The reason for the three stars, the usb cord should have been included with the gps unit. The only way you can update your software from Garmin's website is with the usb cord.

I gave this item a perfect rating simply because it does what it should do. BUT I do have an issue with Garmin. On the eve of a trip I didn't want to spend the money to get a new GPS, so I opted to load new software from the Garmin site. I was able to load the new software package to my Garmin very easily, but beyond disappointed to see the charges to also upgrade the maps from Garmin!! I would rather go out and buy a new GSP with all the bells & whistles than pay $100 or more to just to upgrade the maps. I had no idea they would charge so much. I realize it's a lot of information to load, but come on...what a rip off! The travel sleeve, as many have mentioned, doesn't close over the entire GPS, but it was fine for me since I'm not planning on carrying it around all the time. I should have done more research before making this purchase. The price was fine, but after spending the extra money to have it sent 2-day I feel ripped off.

Seems easy to use but haven't really put it to the test yet. Just wanted on hand for when I did need it.

I am surprised these accessories are not already part of the package when you purchase the GPS system because they are so necessary. I don't leave my GPS in the car so having a carrying case works well. The USB cord is useful for updating the maps, etc.

I am glad that I bought this accessory for my Gamin Nuvi. The cable allows you to connect the Nuvi to your computer and download updates. I don't know why the Nuvi doesn't just come with one of these cords because I have found it to be somewhat necessary. The travel case is also a nice accessory to have.

I got this shortly after I received my Garmin. My Garmin fits great in the pack and I put my ipod in the front pocket so I know where both are when I'm not using them. The car charger is a must!

The case is not long enough to protect the whole screen.
The 4.3 inch wide screen units need a case that is longer.

This case is nice for protecting my Nuvi. The USB cable should have come with the unit from the factory. I would recommend this purchase.
