Works just like a stove at home and can reach a high heat quickly. Boil water for coffee, fry eggs and bacon etc. etc. The butane canisters last quite long as well. On a 3 day camping trip we used just under 2 cans to cook food for 8 people each day. Not bad considering the fuel can be bought for $1.50 a can.
Also, finding these fuel cans can be tricky in stores. The local REI's, Big-5's and Sportsmarts didn't have them (southern california). The best place to find them is in Asian/Indian markets like 99 Ranch. Asians like to use these at home for hot-pot meals and the fuel cans are available there.

I bought this because I am living in an apartment and will only be there for 2 months. I have to pay to get propane delivered, and they want $180 to set it up. I figured that is not worth it for a few months. The product is great and is actually heavier duty than some I have seen in restaurant supply houses. The pan is actually nice for a freebie, but I do not use non stick cookware, so I will likely give it away. I did use it once just to see how cooked. The only problem I have with it is that it was advertised as quote:
"*** Usage a)The stove is safe and easy to use and goes anywhere. b)Great for work cooking,boating,camping,tailgating,backyard/patio or right on your dining room table. On the side of the burner it states it is for outside use only. I don't know many dining room tables that are outside, but I figure it will not be too dangerous, as I would have 4 burners going on a stove. The surface underneath it does not get hot at all, not even after cooking a stew for an hour on it. It works well, I just wish the butane cans were easier to get and lasted longer. I found only one local place that carries it and they have normal business hours. It gets quite hot, so even though I am used to chimerical burners (used to be a chef)I find it gets things hot quickly enough. I would recommend it, with the only caveat the fact that they advertise it for indoor and it says for outdoor on the device.

Best Camping Stove Ever!,

This little stove is amazing. I bought it last year for a trip to the Grand Canyon. It is easy to use and burns very hot. Boiling water? Presto! I cooked quite a few things on it - all with great success.
When we made crepes at my cooking group, I brought the little stove and it was a great addition to the big stove where the main course was being prepared. Be advised - the fuel is not obtainable at "normal" stores. I thought I would be able to get it, but no. I ended up ordering a case of fuel from the seller. Fortunately it arrived in time for my trip. I will have fuel until all eternity, since it's a lot - 13 bottles, if I remember correctly. In a year I've used 2. That is however the only drawback. Just relent and order the fuel along with the stove. The stove is awesome.
