Great product for the handi-capped,

This product has so many uses, I have only begun to discover what they are. I have a steel cane with a rubber-like handle that has started to delaminate. Of course, you can't buy a replacement handle; you have to buy a new cane. I had been stewing over the insanity of our throw-away society, refusing to buy a new cane and living with a handle that was not dangerous, but certainly annoying. Then, I went to the closet to get some packaging tape to seal a package for mailing, and saw the silicone tape. I said to mysalf, "I bet that will work on the cane". Sure enough, it did a grat job of wrapping the handle, but, also gave me a better non-slip grip than what I had previously. I also have a wooden cane which was seldom used because my hand had slipped on it a number of times, nearly causing a fall. I now have a good, solid grip on it thanks to the silicone tape. I'm also thinking that this tape would be good for sealing the electronics package against water on a radio-controlled boat. |
