QuickStep WorkFlow for Faster Binding

The CombBind C20 is simple and intuitive to operate thanks to the unique QuickStep WorkFlow Guide that leads users instinctively through the whole process using color coding and images. There's a handy color-coded stack height guide, for example, so you can quickly check document thickness and select the correct size of comb for the number of pages you are binding, up to a maximum of 38mm for 330 sheets. A neat locator arrow ensures you align the comb accurately for binding to eliminate time-consuming mistakes.

Punches up to 20 Sheets

The CombBind C20 incorporates low punch force technology which makes punching up to 20 sheets at a time smooth and quick. I purchased this binder because almost everything comes with a PDF file and not a hardcopy manual. I am also finding that I have to rebind books that I have purchased because they are falling apart or coming apart as I turn the pages. This is a solid piece of equipment. It does a beautiful, neat clean job of binding. I would recommend it to anyone who has a lot of paperwork that needs to be in book form or in one place. I used to take my paperwork out to have it bound. Doing it at home is immediate. I read the reviews on a number of machines and had second thoughts about purchasing a cheaper more flimsy model. This is going to be around a very long time. I am very happy with this purchase.

Purchased this unit to replace the smaller C12 unit. Much better in my opinion. The major difference, other than the increased cost, is that the paper is inserted into the punching slot in a vertical position instead of the horizontal position of the C12. This makes a huge difference. The paper tended to crease on the C12 when trying to slide in more than 5 sheets. Not an issue on the C20. The vertical positioning uses gravity and is easier to align the sheets and "tap" then even before punching. The unit is quite heavy for it's size and appears to be very well made. Despite it's almost 2x cost over the C12, I feel it's well worth the added cost. It only takes a couple of incorrectly punched documents to realize this is a much better system. I expect to punch about 50 documents ranging from 20 to 100 pages per month with this machine.

This is the first binding machine that I've ever used, and it was pretty easy. I have a number of files I've collected, that I wanted to bind in separate books, of 80 - 100 pages each. Recipes, gardening tips, etc. It's simple and didn't take long at all.

It did take me a few minutes to figure out how to punch the paper, but once I did that it took only 5 minutes to put the whole books together, front and back cover as well. I've used three ring binders for materials like these before and this is so much nicer.

It looks professionally done and is a great machine to have around for when you have binding projects. It seems sturdy and was easy to use. Recommended!
