My son has this mount. We used it on a trip to Florida in July and it works great. It has a weighted rubber base that sits on any shape dash with no sticky residue left behind. You can just pick it up and hide the GPS when you are out of the car. I'm getting ready to buy one for myself. I have a XL350 model which is not listed in the models this fits but the 350 also works on this mount.

My mount arrived quickly but the pivot arm to raise the bracket broke on the first try. I contacted the manufacturer and then sent me another mount immediately with no questions asked. Very nice customer service. I've been using the mount now for around 2 months and here are some oberservations. First it does not sit flush on vehicles that have a arched dash board. My 4 Runner dash arches upward around the gauges and the then the rest slopes downward towards the windshield. The mount won't sit on the raised dashboard section and due to the angle of the downward sloping dash doesn't sit snug against the dash. It holds the Tom Tom ok, but it tends to slide down and then the Tom Tom clicks against the windshield. On sedan cars (rentals) I've tried it in cars with flatter or downward sloping dashboards and it holds fairly well. I did have it fly off of the dash when I completed a u-turn. The bendable bottom doesn't really shape well to the dashboards but the bottom has a sticky texture that allows it to hold fairly well. I like the lite weight and size, especially when traveling. Overall it's probably worth price, but I'm going back to my bean bag style mount and simply duct tape the bracket onto the mount surface.
