Tenderizer works as described
Very pleased with this item. I searched a lot of brick and mortar stores (K-mart, Walmart, Crate & Barrel, etc) and was hard pressed to find a tenderizer for less than $12.00. Most were closer to $20.00. This is light weight but sturdy. It feels like cast aluminum. Cleans up very easy, and mine has already been through the dishwasher a few times with no signs...

Problematic Plastic Handle
So this has a plastic handle and does not even have a one piece head. It will be prone to getting raw meat juices in the seams on the head and handle. The head is also small for a tenderizer. I would have given it less stars, but I guess it is what it says. Spend a couple bucks more for a one piece aluminum. I will probably either toss mine or send it back.
