WORST TOY EVER!, November 17, 2002
By A Customer
= Durability:1.0 out of 5 stars = Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars

this is a really bad toy. first of all, when you first get it it takes several hours to charge. second, when its finally done charging, you make the cotton candy that takes long too. when the cotton candy is finally done, there's like nothing in it and it doesn't even taste like cotton candy. so, if you're looking for a great toy for making good cotton candy that's worth the money, DON'T BUY THIS! i repeat DON'T BUY THIS!

bad design!, January 11, 2002

The product is hard to use because of it's design, will not operate unless lid of machine is on correctly, the rotating head is not overloaded with sugar, must waite 10-seconds after 30-seconds of running, battery consumption (4-"AA") high (will not operate unless battery power is at a high level), the elec. trans former burned out the first time used, and hard to clean up(can not get water on elec. wash with damp towel witch is impossible). If head cloggs w/sugar it will not operate, can not wash with water (not sure how to clean, no instructions).

Deluxe Cotton Candy Machine, December 31, 2001

After purchasing the Deluxe Cotton Candy Machine we are finally happy with our purchase. We have tried both the hand held machine made by the same company and the "Real Cotton Candy Maker" made by another company. Both previous purchases went back to the store due to bad performance. My child is finally happy after the third try. While industrial size machines cost hundreds and sometimes thousands it is nice to be able to provide my child with a cheaper, smaller version. While the instructions say to use fine table sugar, we purchased actual flavored cotton candy floss at a local resturaunt supply store store and it works fine and tastes much better than regular sugar. The only problem I have with this machine is that you have to hold the button down during the candy making process. It can be time consuming, but hey, it works, and my son is happy. That is the important part. If you are looking to purchase a cotton candy maker, look no further. Save yourself a lot of time at the return counter and purchase the "Deluxe Cotton Candy Maker". The company has finally got it right this time.
