5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Tuna (with fixin's)
Thank you Amazon for starting to carry this item! The G'day Gourmet tunas are all wonderful. Sample a can from your local upscale supermarket to find out! Then buy them in quantity here! I like all the tunas except lemon pepper (but that is personal preference). Beware the Chili tuna is hot (but yummy!). Can't go wrong here. FYI: the type of tuna G'day Gourmet uses has...

3.0 out of 5 stars Cheaper at Whole Foods
This is really great tuna. But in Washington DC I pay $1.50 per can at Whole Foods. Here on Amazon it is $20.23 or 12 or $1.69 per can (on Feb 23, 2008). If I'm buying in bulk, shouldn't I be saving money?

I like all the tunas except lemon pepper (but that is personal preference). Beware the Chili tuna is hot (but yummy!). Can't go wrong here. FYI: the type of tuna G'day Gourmet uses has less contaminants (e.g., environmental toxins like methylmercury) than most other types of canned tuna. Also, because the cans are a bit smaller and there's other ingredients taking up space you get an even smaller dose of the bad stuff!

i love everything about g'day gourmet products...healthy omega-3, minimal mercury, wild-caught, packed with flavor (no mayo needed) and so convenient. indian curry and tomato basil are my favorites. easy to add to salads, in a sandwich, or atop a cracker. delicious and a perfect punch of healthy protein!

Of all the G'Day products the Mild Indian Curry flavor is our family favorite.

I am going to point out one thing that may not be obvious even though it is stated in the Amazon description. The size of G'Day products is small (3.5 oz).

Same quality as the other products in the line...

Not a favorite of mine though...

I'll stick to the tomato based ones...

I used to buy G'Day gourmet tuna at Whole Foods (and paying $1.89 a can) until they stopped carrying it at the stores in Texas. I was really bummed until I saw they were selling them on Amazon. Now I buy in bulk and it's cheaper! They're so tasty and make a great healthy, easy lunch. My favorites are chili, tomato onion and mild Indian curry. Yum! Plus I love the tongue-in-cheek packaging. The flip top opening is on the bottom of the can.

5.0 out of 5 stars Delicious and Savory - Right out of the can!, October 26, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: G'Day Gourmet Tuna, Mild Indian Curry, 3.5-Ounce Cans (Pack of 12) (Grocery)
The main difference between this tuna and the other minimal mercury gourmet tuna is that this one (Especially the Mild Indian Curry Flavor) is a savory mouth-watering treat with absolutely no prepration required - right out of the can!

I hesitated before buying this product, as I am a big fan of the Wild Planet line-up of products - but this is really a nice departure from the unflavored tuna-in-a-can that typically needs some condiments to go with it. This great product is a complete, tasty, healthy meal and requires nothing else. What a delight!

Don't hesitate. Once you try this you will be hooked! I know I was! Give this wonderful product a try.
