I needed this cable to pull down an HD signal- our TV is poorly placed, so we have to position the antenna all the way across the floor. This cable worked great, and we received 16 HD channels. Huzzah.

We used this cable as a second run from the digital source (satellite dish, in our case). The second feed to the receiver thus lets our entertainment system record on one channel while we watch another-all without undue hassle. Thanks to some needed roof work, we got the opportunity to string another cable from the attic in one corner of the house to the living room below and across from it. The 100 feet of cable length was about perfect. It snakes across rafters and joists and runs through a moderately long interior wall, negotiating quite a few angles and corners. This cable is up to the task. It's well made, durable, and should reliably perform for years.

BTW, choose carefully for your particular application. Industry recommendations are to go with RG6 for High Definition Audio/Video use, like for satellite TV. The older standard, RG59, is not considered appropriate for HD though it will work. I have a box of RG59 cable left over from old analog cable TV use, but I decided to go ahead and invest in this cable to keep up with the standards and because replacing it in the house would probably have to wait until the next roofing job, hopefully a minimum 15 years down the road.

I thought RG6 was a good cable, but this is thin little cable. I'll be looking for some cable to replace it ASAP. What I got doesn't look like the picture.
