I bought this handset as extension for my Photo Phone and it cost basically the same and now I realized that a 2nd Photo Phone could work as a extension for other Photo Phone Base, so if you are looking for a handset it would be an option to buy another Photo Phone and used as extension... the price is almost the same.

We bought this extra handset to go with a the base Photo Phone from GE that we picked up at a substantial discount from another vendor. It became very clear that the digital photo frame is what this phone is all about, because the handsets themselves are lacking.

No speaker phone, no headset option, no back lit buttons, and no options for ring tones. All of these options are available on other GE cordless phones. It would have been nice to have them in this one.

Basically we got a great deal on a digital photo frame that comes with a mediocre phone.

It looks great - but we have to actually unplug our internet cable from the wall in order to hear clearly when we use the phone.

We received this phone, along with a wall phone. Luckily, my husband is a computer geek, so he set the system up - the directions are involved! But the phone is great, clear, crisp, with an easy to adjust loudness feature that is great for my mom. However, it is a little tricky to hang up - the receiver likes to slide out of the holder if not exactly in the right spot. I'd still buy this phone again, though.

Work's well with the base. Good clarity, sleek design

I should have paid more attention to other people's reviews. It's okay, but not as user friendly as it should be. It doesn't have speaker phone capabilities, which I thought wouldn't matter, but I've now realized it really does matter to me.

Product came as promised. Could not get it to work. Base phone purchased at same time worked fine. Contacted GE, followed all of their instructions, still did not work. Returned unit to GE as instructed, replacement still not here. Very unsatisfactory experience

I purchased 2 phones one black one from DigitalETc and and a Stainless model from Gizmosforlife. Both delivered within days of order, very fast, exept the box received from GIzmosforlife had wrong item and they have been horrible in getting it resolved (still pending), so order from DigitalEtc. I just needed a phone that was easy to set up rings and works and this fit the bill. The Stainless wall set looks great in kitchen, but have not received the stainless handset. The black handset look great, and will go with back for the extra handset I plan to order.

works great as an add on phone, Putting the phone into the bas station takes some getting used too.
