This phone is used in our living room where phone use is minimal, as in our office spaces. The great things about it is that it looks nice and works in a power outage. I would not use it in my office where I use a cordless that has the bells & whistles that make my life a bit easier and where I need to move around while I'm talking.

This phone is basic and very user friendly. It has a ringer shut off feature which is nice. It is fairly light weight, unlike an older version of a G.E. phone that I have. The only downside is the cord, it isn't very long and cannot be changed that I can tell. When I use the phone and move away from the base ,because the cord is not long, it also pulls the base across the table. Overall, a good choice if you are looking for a phone that has more features than many phones that have a cord.
