With the GE 29391GE1 speakerphone, you get an essential telephone feature--hands-free convenience--plus large-capacity call waiting/caller ID. A backlit LCD on the base shows you the name, number, and time of caller, and the date and time. Convenient buttons offer forward and reverse call review. The caller ID history stores up to 60 calls.
The speakerphone includes mute and automatic switching when you want to pick up the handset. Additional features include 12 speed dial numbers; LCD on the handset; volume control; and flash, redial, and pause buttons. Mountable to the wall for additional space savings, the 29391GE1 is also powered by four AA batteries and backed with a one-year warranty on parts and labor.

I liked the look of the phone. Sleek and liked size of buttons. I have been told that I was hard to hear on the speakerphone from caller on other side. I use the phone in the kitchen on wall. Not pleased with how phone fit on bracket to use as wall phone.

I bought one of these but ultimately returned it. While itdoes make an OK telephone, the feature that I primarily wanted, a back-lit display, isn't there! The LCD screen is just as impossible to read in low light as any other LCD that other reviewers have noted. Buy this for the speakerphone, but be warned, it does NOT have a back-lit display.
