Phone is quite loud when it rings and cannot be turned lower. However phone clarity is excellent. The battery life is quite good. Not bad for the price.

Phone battery lasted only a short time.It must have been used for a long time prior to the sale. However, I did buy it used and that was a risk I took.

I've owned this for about a year and a half now, and it's done well. The sound it good, the buttons work well, and I really have no complaints. As others have noted, pushing the buttons to dial does make a loud noise, but it's not anything I've every really thought was annoying. Anyway, we just use the caller ID and scroll through and then hit talk.

On quibble I do have is the battery life. Again, we've owned the phone for a year and a half, and my wife will sit and talk to her friends for an hour. When we got the phone the battery was good for a solid hour or more, but now it starts beeping after half an hour of talking. I suppose after a year and a half that's to be expected, but it seems like other phones I've owned have had stronger batteries.

One thing that jumps out at me though, is that when I bought this phone it was about $24 and $8 for shipping. I now see it's listed at $73. For $73 you might as well get in your car and drive over to the person's house to talk to them.

This phone is very irratating. The ringer volumne is very loud and can't be turned down. Also the ringer choice is 3 very irratating sounds like I've never heard before. Very high pitched, pulsating sounds that are loud also. Also the caller I.D. is hard to read. The backlight is not very bright and this too cannot be adjusted. So...I will be returning the phone.

Really loud tone when you hit the buttons to dial and no way to adjust it. Very annoying. Too lazy to send it back and go phoneless. I'd look for a phone with more features such as volume control.
