The GE 7-4835 AM/FM clock radio offers a 0.9-inch red LED display, and a snooze feature that pauses the alarm for nine minutes to allow extra sleep. The unit can be programmed to wake you with either the AM/FM radio or buzzer.

Should the power fail, you can use a battery backup (not included) to allow continued operation of the unit, though an onboard time-hold capacitor will preserve the time setting during short failures or if you reposition the clock.

The AM/FM radio employs a slide-rule dial and automatic frequency control for FM tuning to reduce station drift. The clock includes two built-in antennas to improve reception quality and a 2.5-inch dynamic speaker. The clock's time-lock feature prevents unintended changes of time.

Included with the GE 7-4835 are a one-year limited warranty and an owner's manual.

For me, I really don't need much in a clock radio. All I need from it is that it will wake me up on time and last a long time. I have owned a similar model of this GE model, but when I moved to college, I bought this model and its about the same as the other one I had. It has that really irritating alarm sound, but it works fine. But the radio tuning is kind of poor, just like my other one. If you are going to buy a clock with radio capability, this product is not for you. Try some other clock/radio.

Affordable,and easy-to-use. Has a convenient snooze alarm and sleep timer.Power-failure backup. I liked the easy to read time display.
