Hi, Even though this clock has to settings for the brightness of the numbers, they are just so big they give off enough light that it fills the room. You can read by the light that this clock gives off! If you like to have it dark when you sleep- don't get this clock. The clock has never failed in many power outs, and always wakes me up on time but make sure you are ok for the light it will give off.

I know, I know... How good can a clock radio *really* be?

Well, this one is fantastic!

First off, if you read the reviews for the others sold on Amazon, people complain about the display being too bright. This one has two settings for the display. So, you can tone it down a bit if it is too bright.

Second: this unit actually has decent FM reception, good tuning, and pretty good sound.

In these times of less and less sleep, and with varying schedules, this clock fits the bill!

This clock radio has all the features I think most people look for in a clock radio. It has a giant display, but you can turn down the brightness if it will keep you up at night. In addition, the alarms work great (very easy to adjust the volume) with a conveniently located snooze button. I don't use the radio much, but everything else has been fantastic -- it's too big for a travel alarm clock, but works great on your nightstand!

A really good radio with great features. I especially like the looks of it and the dual alarms, it has a great radio with real good reception. Overall this is a winner!!

The clock is great. I bought it for the dual alarm feature as well as the easy to read numerals. The problem I have had is using the snooze alarm... The problem is that the volume control for the radio is too close to the snooze button, so while hitting the snooze button, I turn the radio volume off. Now I have to use the second alarm with a loud buzzer instead of the radio. Of course, I could stop using the snooze alarm, but that's what it's there for. I wouldn't buy it again unless they moved the volume control to the side out of the way of my grasp.
