Producing brighter blue-white light for improved visibility and contrast, and easily installed by auto professionals and do-it-yourselfers alike, this 2-pack of bulbs is suitable for a wide variety of vehicle models and provides better performance than standard headlights, making it a must have for any driver experiencing dimming headlights, or simply interested in minimizing the chance of an accident due to poor visibility.
Despite the fact that traffic levels generally drop at night, the fact remains that year after year nearly half of the total accidents that occur on U.S. roads and highways take place at night. Wherever these nighttime accidents occur, one factor is always the possibility of compromised and even poor road lighting conditions. This is why every motorist should consider GE's Nighthawk Sport series of auto halogen replacement bulbs. Blue-white Light for Better Contrast

Save $100 and do it yourself,

My dealer wanted over $100 to replace the headlights in my car. I did it myself in a few minutes. The lamps are as good or better than the Toyota bulbs I replaced. They have a very slight blue tint but by no means are they the same true-white color as HID bulbs.
Update 8/08: Amazon almost doubled the price from a month ago from $14 to $25. Get the two pack which is just a few dollars more at $30.

Originally, I was misinformed (by local retail carparts chain) that only changing my entire headlight assembly could fix the very dim, unsafe LOW beams on my `95 Mercury Mystique. I ordered these Nighthawk Sport bulbs (better price & longer life than Sylvania's version), and the difference is ABSOLUTELY ASTOUNDING! Obviously I had "tired" OEM bulbs (Syl 9006HB4) in before; I simply could NOT use low beams without street lights...always felt blind at night. Now I can see 100 feet or more further; don't need to switch to high beams, and they're not obnoxious to oncoming drivers! It's amazing...these are wildly effective, and worth every penny. Oh, and Amazon's pricing saved me over 25% from buying locally! I'm extremely pleased...I CAN SEE!!...and I would recommend GE Nighthawk Sport bulbs to anyone with low beams that feel too dim.

I guess my OEM Ford bulbs were not too bad because I was not totally blown away with these new bulbs. They work as well as my OEM bulbs and the whiter light helps a little bit. I guess I was just expecting more. They work well. Just not that much better then my originals.
I replaced the bulbs in my 2004 Explorer which may have already good good OEM lamps.
