I've been using the lights now for a couple weeks. I bought them to replace the OEM bulbs on my '05 Dodge Pickup. I was hoping for the 30% increase in distance they advertise, but that didn't happen. They are no brighter than the stock bulbs and only a little different in color temperature. If your looking for more of the "bluish" xenon look, these bulbs aren't for you. Even though the bulbs are blue coated, they don't reproduce that when lit. I'm satisfied ONLY because I wanted to replace the OEM's since they were a few years old and because I caught the "two for one" deal Amazon had on them.

I purchased these bulbs to replace my stock lamps which had still not burned out after 4.5 years of service. I considered Silverstar Ultra's first but I saw several reviews reporting very short lifespan. The Nighthawk Sports may not be as bright as Silverstars (which is probably why they last longer). They do seem brighter than stock lamps and definitely have a cooler color. The color is much closer to pure white verging on bluish. I'd recommend them

I have both the Silverstar by Sylvania in one car and I just bought this GE Nighthawk for my other vehicle. I must say the Silverstar are much brighter and so far I had had them for three years. The Nighthawk are only slightly brighter that the regular stock bulbs and not worth the extra money.

One very good tip: every time you handle all this bulbs make sure you wear latex gloves, otherwise the oils from the skin makes hot spots in the bulbs and they burn out in no time.

The brightest lights seem to both burn out quickly (read similar item's reviews) and often blinds oncoming drivers. These GE bulbs are a reduced glare color and very nicely bright. They are also GE and have been reviewed to be much more durable, a BIG plus in my book. They are also price competitive.
If these are your goals, you will be satisfied.
Knowing what I know now, I would choose these exact bulbs again.

NICE bulbs GOOD Value !

These replaced the OEM bulbs in my 97 Ford Taurus, and they're definitely an improvement. They are brighter, though not extremely so. Light is a nice, pure white. I'd gladly buy another set.

These bulbs are a bright white light! They do cover the sides better than the factory bulbs, and the distance is nice as well! great for the price

I installed these bulbs on an old 2004 Mitsubishi Outlander which, as many old asian cars, come standard with very poor night lights. I felt the GE Nighthwks improved illumination by over 90%.

Needing to replace my headlamps to match them back up after an accident, I tried these out. Unfortunately, one of the bulbs burned out less than three weeks after I installed them. This was my first, and last, use of GE bulbs in my car; I've gone back to Sylvania.

These headlights are awesome! I love the blue color they emit, they were very easy to install and replace, and they are superbright at night. During the day, my daytime lights have a nice blue hue to them, and they come to life at night. All my friends love the new lights and I can see much better when we go out now.
