Installed easily. Very quiet when running. Seems quite powerful. Constructed mostly of stainless steel and fiberglass reinforced plastic, so I don't expect corrosion of any kind to be a problem. Light weight adds to ease of installation. I expect a long life, and it seems to be a very good value for the money.

After a year of regular use and dropping a few metal utensils down the drain, everything is still quiet and grinds like the wood chipper from Fargo - the movie.

I have installed 4 during the past 20 years as a homeowner. However, I gave up on this one. The rubber cussion mount would not fit into the mounting ring. I even resorted to my car jack to put it in place. I bougt it to avoid using plumber putty. Terrible decision. It went back to the store after 4 hours (i am very stubborn). I put an In Sink Arator in in about 20 minutes.
