This is a very attractive refrigerator with ample room; however, the ice dispenser and ice maker stopped working after the power was restored two weeks ago. I'm outside my warranty but purchased less than three years ago. Why would a power reset cause them to stop functioning? Not worth the hefty price (and loss of space) to have to use bottled water and ice trays.

Overall this isn't a bad refrigerator but if a workable ice maker is important to you, consider another model.
Of all the refrigerators I've owned, the ice maker on this one is terrible. When it does decide to make ice, it makes them in 4 connected ice cubes. Because they're connected, this generally jams the ice maker. I guess the designers thought that a) the foursome would break up when they fell into the ice dispenser or b) the corkscrew device that dispenses the ice cubes would break them apart. Neither in each case. You'll spent the majority of your time taking this awkward 5-7 lb ice dispenser out to address the issue.
Also, every so often the ice maker will go into "crushed" ice mode even though "cubed" is selected.
There's a "Quick Ice" button. Good luck with this. I'm still trying to figure what it does.
Oh and another bad feature, you have to completely remove the ice dispenser to access the switch to turn the ice maker on or off.
