This is a great little mouse. I bought it while traveling because I had forgotten to bring one of my own. The mouse itself is small (about 3.5" in diameter) which is definitely useful on a plane or other confined space. I've even used it on the wrist rest of my laptop with no problem.

It has an 800 dpi resolution (twice of most mice) so that it moves twice as far on the screen with the same movement on a surface as most mice do, which also helps in small confines. It is also an optical mouse so the movement on any surface and on the screen is very smooth, and the scroll wheel is a nice touch (and the scroll wheel GLOWS BLUE, extra special).

The retractable cord is also nice. It unwinds and easily (it retracts with a short tug on either side of the cable) and you can unwind it to any length up to about 32".

The reason it didn't get a better rating is because it is so small. I have medium-large hands and it is difficult to use sometimes, especially with the TINY buttons. Other micro mice seem to have larger buttons and are shaped more ergonomically.

This is a great mouse for traveling; it packs up small and works nicely. If you have larger hands, you may want to avoid it. Will I keep using it because of the cool blue scroll wheel? Absolutely... until my hand cramps up.

It didn't break... Actually mine lasted about 9 months. But a friend of mine bought one, and it broke within two weeks. But it certainly is a nice looking and very portable little mouse. I will still buy another.

This mouse is such an unusual, quirky, and attractive design that I bought it. I really love the size, shape, and old classic GE logo. I didn't care that it's too small to be ergonomic. I didn't care that the round shape doesn't give your hand any tactile feedback about the orientation. I just love the design, so I voted for it the only way that counts in this country. With money.
I wish more companies would hire real designers and make attractive products.

I bought it as a gift for my brother. Its small fits easily in his laptop case and he can use any where he wants to.

it is a little small but i like it and you actually do have to have drivers for it to work on Win 98se just make sure you unistall all other mouse drivers in use first espacilly other GE Mice drivers took me a bit to figure that out but o well got it to work :-)(drivers are on the win98se disc they come up crystal optical mouse and then you install the GE mouse software) if you have your comp in your bedroom and leave it on it the wheel light makes a good nitelight hehe if ya want something small and cool get this but stay away from it if ya have bad hands or really big hands ok i am out of here

My husband loves this mouse - it is small and easy to use and looks pretty cool too. I am ordering him another so he'll have one at work and at home.

Loved the product but the retraction mechanism failed yesterday after about 3 months of use - I'm heartbroken (I was so in love with it) and on my way to get another one:)

This optical mouse works at the moment you plug it in, didn't need to install the driver. Great for laptop computer users, small enough to carry it wherever you go, no need to struggle with wires, the retractable cord is what you're looking for. Nice blue glowing of the scroll button, it was a gift from my girlfriend and I'm so glad she gave it to me, great help and it's ready to use. And an amazing thing, its price, it's worth it.

I would agree with most reviews here - this is a decent little mouse for the price. However, mine broke after 2 weeks of use. As far as I can tell, the cable has had a failure and can't send a signal anymore. Very aggrivating - I will be buying a better constructed replacement.

What an adorable, tiny mouse! I plugged it in and it worked right away (didn't need the drivers) I love it. It's just small enough to pack up with my laptop w/o adding bulk to my bag. Also, I've been trying to teach my toddlers not to press the right button on the mouse when playing their games. This mouse makes it easier for them to tell the difference. I, too, would not recommend it for people with large hands, as it may be frustrating trying to navigate with such a small mouse.
