In our home we have a lot of light fixtures that take this sort of CFL bulb, with the 4 pins rather than the usual "edison" screw in base.

With the screw base, you have many great choices for bulbs, with different light spectra, dimmables, etc. With the 4pin type you have only a few choices. In this one, the "2700k" refers to the "temperature" of the light. The lower the number, the "warmer" the light. The default bulbs our fixtures came with are 3500K, and the light is blueish, which is ugly and industrial seeming. These 2700 bulbs are notably warmer/yellower, and closer to a traditional incandescent bulb. (Not that close, but closer.)

I ordered the GE 97612 F26DBX/835/ECO4P bulbs because that is what our electrician had installed in our kitchen. The color of the light matches the others perfectly. However, I have had 3 of the originals burn out after 2 years. So much for 5 or 7 year life projections on fluorescent bulbs. Also, in the Amazon description of the product, they say it is a 97610 which is not correct. The color temperature of a 97610 is 2700K, whereas in that same description, they say it is 3500K. I'm not even sure that is correct. It might be 4100K because it is quite white. The box for the bulb does not say at all what the color temperature is. I wanted to get several as spares, but was limited to 3 bulbs in a shipment. I don't know why unless there is some law limiting the size of shipments with chemical hazards (the mercury in the bulb). I don't use the dimmable part on the bulb, just wanted to match what is installed.

The bulbs actually delivered are not dimmable, although the product description says they are. The delivered bulbs are the correct item number, but they are not labeled as dimmable either. (We have a Lutron dimmer specifically designed for CFL bulbs.)

I bought these to replace a discontinued commercial electric brand bulb. This one is slightly longer than the old ones so it just barely fits, but it's the only replacement I've found that wasn't too long for the housing. So far they are working fine.

The perfect product at the right price. It came very quickly and installed seamlessly. GE=Quality! I expect longer life than with the Sylvania (Chinese) generic.

I moved into a new apartment that had overhead lights with 2 pin Biax bulbs in them (which of course don't indicate their model on them), not knowing there were different pin arrangements for different 2 pin bulbs I ordered 4 of these, because the photo made it appear to be the same bulb.

Lets run through a list based on the photo.
Connected at top.
Looks like two tubes.
Pin on either side of bottom for a total of two pins.
Two plastic prong like things per side to lock the bulb in place.

Hey that's the same as my bulb!

Bulbs arrived 1 of the 4 was broken, and while the product I received is the G24d-3 bulb as this description says, it is most certainly not the bulb in the photo used for the product.

These have 4 tubes, and while in profile such as the photo 4 tubes could look like two.
These have 2 pins diagonally, and sure in profile you cant really tell depth either.
These have ONE plastic prong like thing per side....

But wait the photo clearly shows two. Well that's cause that is not a photo of these bulbs.

These are the exact same bulbs my apartment building uses in my bathroom. The light above the sink has 3 of these and when one goes out it takes forever for maintenance to finally replace it and the price at local hardware stores is ridiculous. I was thrilled to see 10 bulbs for this price. Amazon never lets me down. Now for years and years to come (for these bulbs last a very long time) I will have replacements on hand when I need them. I have 3 of them in now and they work great as they should. They are exactly as advertised and such a bargain. Not much more to say about the bulbs. They put out an excellent quality light that works great in a bathroom. Great bulbs - great deal!
