I am very satisfied with my GE rotating waffle appliance. I did not have a bit of trouble with it. It made them just like the larger ones that I used at a motel several times. I'm sure they were a lot more expensive. They are wonderful, crispy yet soft waffles. I had no problem with them sticking like I used to with old fashioned waffle makers. I make whole wheat flour waffles and they are healthy and tasty!!

Bought this a few years ago during the Christmas sales--a Christmas present to myself. I used it a few times and tucked it away, for use with company. Can't eat 3 waffles myself and they don't freeze well. It should be fairly easy to use, with the 'ready' light and the flip feature, but the waffles turned out pretty and crisp on one side and pale on the other. And they were tricky to get out of the waffle iron. 'Lightly greased' (as the directions say) should in fact read, 'liberally spray with a misto sprayer full of cooking oil.' Even so, it can be sticky to get the waffles out whole.

Had company recently and we made waffles, or tried to. The handle broke. The waffle could not be flipped. Had to use pliers to open the waffle iron to get the waffle out. By the time this was done the waffle was VERY crisp and brown. Super-glued the handle back together successfully. Left to weld for a few weeks, it seemed to work until the iron was heated. It fell apart again. I got this waffle maker for $29.97 a few years ago. I advise you choose instead the Oster waffle iron for the same (or similar) price. That seems to have a much better rating. This GE model has way too much weight depending on the small plastic handle and flip mechanism. It can't help but break sooner or later. I used this about 8 times. The last two times I've had to use a pair of pliers to make it work.

bought two of these. one for a gift one for ourselves. found both too have a serious design flaw.the thing falls apart when flipped over. i.e.the top plate does not clip in securely and subsequently comes unclipped when flipped over.
