Swapping the old 3 prong cable for this 2 prong with the S-Cable connection was a great idea. Really cleaned up the image from our older satellite box! Totally worth doing and this cable is a bargain at $14!

This cable is well shielded and the connectors solid. The cable is very flexible and not too thick, making it easy to snake through a spine. An excellent buy.

I agree with D. Steiner about the cables flexibility, allows for easy movement of attached devices without pulling the cable off.

I use this cable to connect my laptop to my T.V. and the image is very crisp for videos. This is, by the way, the reason I bought this cable. You'll enjoy browsing the internet on the T.V. as well. The text on the sites are clear as well as the images. The s-video plugs fit tight on both ends. I should have gotten a longer cable, though I'm not sure if GE has a longer model.

This cable works very well since all three wires are connected to one. Amazon .com shipped all my purchase on time. Thank You.

GE 6' S-Video/Composite Audio Cable (AV-23320)These are high quality cables. They look and feel well made and worked great. These combo cables have both the s-video cable for the video signal and the RCA connectors cables for sound. I use them to transfer an audio and video signal to a recently purchased DVD recorder. They work great. HDMI was not an available option when transferring older family VHS tapes to DVD so s-video and RCA composite for sound was the best option. Although I could have used a set of RCA cables to transfer the audio and video signal, s-video produces a much better video signal. The sound still comes through the RCA connectors and if you have the composite option for sound, use it as it will produce a quality signal.

Please be careful who you order cables from. The above seller through Amazon sent high quality cables in a GE retail package. I liked them so much that I ordered a second set of cables. I made the mistake of ordering from another vendor on Amazon at a low price. I got a set of flimsy cables with green corrosion on the ends in a baggie with a twist tie that looked and felt nothing like the high quality GE cables. Amazon promptly refunded my money including shipping. I reordered again but this time using the good seller on Amazon and got the high quality cables expected in a GE Retail package. Thanks Amazon, you are why online purchasing is so successful.

A composite S-video cable is the only way to go. This cable is an excellent value. You do not need Monster cable to get a good signal. After all, it is only S-video.

This is a cable, how much more can you say? I ordered this so I could have a single cable for s-video and audio. It makes my wiring much cleaner. Of course, I will only use this until I rid myself of the remaining video tapes.

I use this to connect my laptop to my tv and stream online video. It works just fine. I did wind up purchasing another one that's longer. But that's just my bad for not buying a longer one in the first place.

good price, seems to be good quality, intend to use it to extend my satellite connection to my porch on a temporary basis, have not had a chance to try it out yet. GE products are usually good quality and if there is a problem they usually respond to warranty claims as does Amazon.
