If you are looking for a great headset to use for gaming at a price that is well worth it, then this is the headset for you.

I was actually looking to buy a new headset but found no urgency in buying one until my old, cheap, $20 radio shack headset broke.

I did some searching and found this.

Buying this was one of the best decisions of my online shopping purchases.

The sound quality and microphone quality are amazing. The headset is very comfortable, and with a few adjustments it will fit the size and shape of your head.

Sound: You can listen to music, Gaming SFX, or even just the sound component to a video and it will sound crisp clean. The vibration option is great when you just want to feel even more alive within your music, game, or video. Not only do you have great sound quality, but you also have a feature where you can bring the sound to life.

Microphone: The microphone is great. It's basically all the quality in a microphone that you will need for talking with your buddies or stream/video viewers. The feature of putting your microphone in a vertical position to mute it and a horizontal position to un-mute is fantastic. Not only does this give a fast solution to blocking out your voice when you are doing something private (like sneezing, coughing, or just yelling across the room), but it also is a great way to deal quickly with background noise (such as a truck passing by, or a sibling asking you a question).

Overall, this is a headset I will recommend to all gamers and entertainment seekers.

Definitely a good buy.

Sounds is crisp and clear, the ear cups fit nice and tight on your ears. The cushioning is perfect.

I hardly heard any noise other than the music coming from my headset, it was almost like I was in the game.

If you are looking for an affordable and quality gaming headset, GET THIS.

I read about these headphones in popular science and was skeptical of the low price compared to turtle beach or razer but decided to purchase them anyway. Overall this is a great gaming headset if it works. For the first two months I owned them they were perfect. Nice volume adjust on both ear cups, very comfortable, good sound and nice mic. However after about two and a half months the left earpiece stopped producing sound. Every now and then it will work again but overall it's broken. I was sad to find no information on how to fix this problem or the cause behind it. Of course the return policy had long passed and now I am stuck with only a half functional set of headphones.

For $50, let me be clear, you will have a hard time finding a better set up for cost vs performance. I have owned several virtual 7.1 headsets, and the #1 thing most of them share is flimsy build quality, this set is an exception. It is thick, heavy, and built sturdily enough, especially at the stress points, to rival several hundred dollar sets. It is also very fitting to all sizes of heads, mine being on the bigger end, and with perfect comfort to the ears and head. The cups fit coompletely around the ears, so no pinching or pressure during long sessions. The mic worried me at first, but it is receptive when kept in the right position, folds up and down securely, and works as intended. The volume adjuster is an odd duck, being placed behind the ear. I have yet to encounter what the other reviewers have by accidently hitting or rolling it when removing it or adjusting, but that may also stem from how I handle them. You activate the vibration feature from just above that volume control, and the effect does add a more engaging audio and bass effect, but found in several voice chat games, tended to "thump out" voices a bit, but not horribly.

The sound is standard fare in the virtual 7.1 world, it is not true HD Dolby, but is a fantastic audio experience that once witnessed, you will find it impossible to use anything but surround sound sets from my experience. The driver is an easy install and my Windows 7 Ultimate 64 picked up the USB connection and I was set up and running in under 3 minutes. After manually adjusting to my liking, I found myself switching up my weapons used in Payday 2 just to witness to rewarding "Thum Thum Thum" of my 7.62 rounds blasting from the AK47.

Can't say enough how much I love this headset. I would consider myself a very heavy user, as I Skype several hours everyday.

I bought the Cavimanus to replace a Plantronics Gamecom 780, which had phenomenal sound, but I felt like my head was in a vice grip. This is far and away the most comfortable headset I have ever owned. The sound is incredible, the vibration feature is fabulous, and setup was extremely easy. The software interface is simple, but very effective, and you have a multitude of different settings/sound effects available. The simulated surround sound is worth every penny. Play "Amnesia" with the sound and vibration turned up and you'll see what I mean- absolutely awesome (and extremely scary!)

This is a USB headset, which isn't as convenient as my old analog Turtle Beach X11 as far as switching back and forth between my Bose Speakers and the headset, but it's not all that difficult either. The unit itself is Black, with Red Trim pieces, and a blue power light. Personally, I'm not into the aesthetics of a headset, but if you care for those things, it's pretty nice looking.

The sound is easily turned up and down with a knob located behind the left earpiece. However, this is my ONE complaint about the headset: it is TOO easily turned up and down. I have often taken off my headset, and then put it back on, only to discover that the volume has been turned all the way down just from slight touching of the volume control. The vibration feature is easily toggled off and on by a button on the left earpiece as well. It's not prone to accidental silencing like the volume is, but honestly, the headset just doesn't sound as good with this feature turned off.
