very cute! ~ but probably only for the die-hard Georgia fan,

I love the Georgia Nicolson series, and as a huge fan decided I should get the other products as well. This book is quite cute and has a number of fun pages and a ribbon bookmark if you'd like to note a particular bit of wisdomosity. You can read it all in about 10 minutes, but it is quite amusing. You can also do as the author suggests and ask it a question, then by some means (i.e. throwing the book on the floor, randomly opening to a page, etc.) get an answer. It's sorta like the book (and very pink) version of the magic 8 ball. I also like that the book is small enough (6" x 4.25" x .75") to carry around if you want to have it on hand for a laugh. A few of my favorite quotes (chosen randomly): ~"Bigger is better. (Unless we are talking about noses. Or nunga-nungas that become a shelf-like affair that you can balance your snacks on.)" ~"You are beyond the Valley of the Confused and treading lightly towards the land of the Severely Deranged." ~"Do not negotiate. You may be wrong but that is part of the fun!" |
