5.0 out of 5 stars Great book covering Nutrition and Health, January 11, 2012
This review is from: The GI Made Simple: The proven way to lose weight, boost energy and cut your risk of disease (Paperback)
This book is Amazing! It combines a lot of research on Nutrition and the Glycemic Index. It also gives the sources and recommended readings and resources in the back. Only one small part concerned me. It was a sentence about eating red meats only 1-2 times per week. Red meats provide essential macronutrients such as Zinc, iron, and B vitamins. If you purchase lean beef, saturated fat is equal or less than 4.5 grams per serving. All the other information seemed accurate. I've utalized the concept for 3 days and I have more energy, am sleeping better, and haven't had much for cravings. Buy it!

This review is from: The GI Made Simple: The proven way to lose weight, boost energy and cut your risk of disease (Paperback)
Copied from Montignac's "the french diet" website. Never mentioned the "founder" of the method. Poor academic attitude.
