5.0 out of 5 stars Best Damn Diet Book Ever!
Dr Fedon Lindberg's book "The GI Mediterranean Diet" is the best on the subject. He explains what works and what doesn't work in a way everyone
can understand and benefit from. I recommend it to anyone who is serious about losing weight and improving their health at the same time.

The information given in the first chapters is useful in general terms.
The diet proposed (because it is really a diet) feels draconian and difficult to implement on a permanent basis, at least with the info at hand. I found many parts confusing, ultimately generating more questions than providing answers.Perhaps the book will grow on me with a second reading. I also find the fact that it is a previously published book with a different title borderline dishonest given that I purposely bought a book published in 2009 expecting it to integrate recent information.

3.0 out of 5 stars For the serious dieter, May 9, 2010

This review is from: The GI Mediterranean Diet: The Glycemic Index-Based Life-Saving Diet of the Greeks (Paperback)
This book is for the person who is serious about making a real life change in the way they eat. I eat good most of the time so it would be hard for me to make a drastic change.
