This is my first motherboard for my first build PC. It was easy to install. I have put AMD A8-6600K on it and they both formed a very nice combination. My new PC worked the first time I pushed the power button with no problems. After I installed windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, I have updated the BIOS from F5 to F6 using the Gigabyte Utility which was included in the CD which came with the motherboard and then I updated all the drivers with no problems. I am very pleased.

I chose this motherboard because it was overclock friendly and offered a good amount of expansions slots, SATA ports, and other ports, in a small form factor, for a good price. It also has a 8-Pin power for the processor instead of a 4-Pin power port which helps with voltage regulation for overclocking. You can find a motherboard with built in wireless for a little bit more money, which may be attractive to you. It was also black. Black all of the things!

This is a great motherboard !!! For those that didn't like it either didn't know what they were doing or needed to RMA it, because they screwed it up. It has been very reliable. My own personal computer, I have been using for over 10 years and it still works great. I personally use Gigabyte motherboards exclusively for all my builds along with AMD CPU's. (for years and years) Why ? because they are the best. They know what they are doing and the quality is not hype. (as proven in court cases). So much is "under the hood" so to speak. I love their reliability. Of course, as many of these posts show their ignorance, anyone can screw up a fine piece of equipment, before they even assemble it. (static electricity, etc) A person who drives a truck will not appreciate a Ferrari when he tries to use it like a truck. Some education and experience applies. I personally have never had to RMA a single motherboard, nor an AMD CPU. Believe the posts that speak of the quality they notice right out of the box. There is some configuration that needs to be done in many cases. Learn from someone who knows what they are doing rather than some student who experiments and "hopefully", learns from their screw ups, how not to do it. Operating systems can also show stupidity. 7 is absolutely better than 8. Newer can be worse than tried and proven. I personally use Linux almost exclusively. Only users know how sweet it can be with the proper distro. and hardware. Don't always believe the numbers, they can be misleading if not downright deceptive.

I put this motherboard into our new main family PC build. The AMD Kaveri A10-7850K FM2+ chip worked as soon as I mounted it. I love the fact that it has 4 channel RAM, USB 3.0, and gigabit ethernet.

I haven't used the charge on/off feature yet.

The BIOS was pretty self explanatory and allowed me to overclock the Kaveri chip to 4.0Ghz without a hitch.

Board fit right into my Rosewill Line-M-A MiniATX case, didn't need to remove any spacers.

Linksys WMP110 WiFi PCI card was plug and play, no issues.

This board, along with the 7850K and Crucial M500 120GB SSD, makes my system really fly.

So far it's done everything I've asked of it, I'd buy it again.

Board works perfectly with A-10-6700 and 16GB RAM. Micro ATX is cramped anyway but, you will want to think your cable strategy out before you put in the board.

The bad...The graphics are good for we based stuff that doesn't have a high demand for graphics. So I put my own video card in to make up for the deficiency.

The Good...Swapping to a video card is a breeze.

The Good...Overclocking on the board is easy.
The Bad.... It is not easy to find an inexpensive FM2 cooler.

Board is well worth the money.

Bought this MOBO for a media center. I got 8 4TB HDDs running off this thing with no issues. No overclocking. No need for additional cooling. Everything is running at stock speeds with stock parts. I probably wouldn't recommend this board for serious gamers or overclocking enthusiasts, but for everyday computing and media center purposes, it works perfectly.

No issues building up a system for an HTPC with Win 7. The utility/driver CD was very simple and straightforward. Their little hardware monitor program whatever it's called seems to crash if it's running for a few days. I don't care since I only use it to check temps when first building and then never look at it again. The CPU and system fan (2) headers do a nice job of using PWM to balance airflow and temps. Would buy again.

I bought this MB along with a A10-7850K - kaveri - APU, an FM2+ socket processor. It appears to be that this motherboard is capable of supporting FM2+ processors as long as the F4 - released on 2013/11/27 - or later BIOS is installed. Well, it's February 2014 and still it seems they're selling pre-F4 boards. I say 'it seems' because without the correct BIOS, the computer will not boot at all (though everything seems to power up), and I have no way of verifying which BIOS version is installed. And as you can imagine, the only way to update the BIOS according to the manual is using a Windows/DOS utility - yes, basically you need the computer to boot to update the BIOS. I have contacted Gigabyte support to see if they have a solution to this, but if not, I will be returning the board. I am not willing to spend $40+ on a second CPU, wait for it to arrive, and then have no use for it, just because the description did not state that the board was not compatible with my $180+ APU.
