I have owned this Mother bored for about 4 years now, it has given me no problems at all, it has even out lived my Television that i have used for a monitor. My computer use had been at least six if not more hours per night and its still doing fine, though the boot time may take a little longer than when i started with it. It has four slots for Ram up to 32gb, which for a photo editor like me helps run Photoshop for the larger photos. I Have been quite happy with this board and will hopefully have it for some time longer if I should be so lucky.

--------------------------
Pros: I've owned this board for 2 years now. It's a fairly stable board when it's running - as in when it's not throwing boot loop or refusal to power-on tantrums.

Overclockability is great - I originally purchased a Z68XP-UD3 (non-P version) in combination with my Core i5 2500K and the UD3P was able to achieve the same OC speeds (both 4.7GHz and 5.0GHz) at slightly lower voltage settings.

The Dynamic VCore feature (equivalent to Asus' "Offset" OC move) works pretty well, and the processor stays pretty cool.

--------------------------
Cons: Tons of boot issues.

Aside from the widespread boot loop problem posted by everyone else, this board is prone to being stuck at the BIOS screen whenever it's unhappy about something (bad OC settings, new BIOS update... in fact, changing the boot logo using Face Wizard breaks the BIOS most of the time).

My particular board actually developed an issue where it would sometimes refuse to power on altogether after an AC power loss (which I sometimes purposefully induce to make the Dual BIOS feature kick in when the board gets stuck at POST... which, trust me, happens FAR too often with this board).

Last but not least, Gigabyte is seriously behind its main competitor, Asus, in terms of software & BIOS implementations. When this board was released, Gigabyte was one of the few motherboard manufacturers who had yet to implement UEFI BIOS. Not only that, but the software utilities are just downright awful compared to Asus' rich offerings (such as the sleek and well-integrated AI Suite). Gigabyte is very slow when it comes to updating their utilities - in fact they often just leave them broken after release.

I have owned this board for 3 months now. I just encountered the 'endless boot loop' issue that others have been reporting and was able to get it to function after about 15 or so reboots. I was unaware of this issue when purchased. Now I am stuck and would need to rebuild with a more reliable board. Very upset - it won't be a Gigabyte!

I was never impressed with this board anyway. Boot time was average at best (compared to other boards I own). Build quality seems a little cheap/flimsy. Otherwise, it worked fine - nothing special.

I used this mother board for an HTPC build. I really like Gigabyte boards,
well made and durable. This board was easy to install, setup, and allows
me to over clock easily. It has the ability for pass through Intel graphics
which is why I choose it. You really can't go wrong with Gigabyte for
Mother Boards.
