The fan is very quiet while in use.

Right now this is probably the best bang for your buck card on the market if you really don't want to break the bank.

I sold my old xbox 360 to get this, and I am amazed. I play world of warcraft, and I was coming from an 8400gs 256mb. I would get about 10fps on the lowest settings at 1440x900 (my native resolution) but with this, I am now getting about 90fps in orgrimar on ultra at 1440x900. I even decided to download BF3 and I can play on ultra with no MSAA on and get about 80fps, sometimes dipping to the high 40's. Temps are awesome, I usually keep my loud case fans off, and it hits about 55c in stagnant air after hours of use.

Replacing the 8800 GT in my computer. I have a 550 Ti OC in my other computer. This card looks nice and works great. I like that it has VGA, DVI, and HDMI ports on it. Word of caution though, the dvi ports are DVI-D Dual Link and the card doesn't come with a vga adapter. Here's a chart so you know what it looks like.

In my computer was two dual height PCI Express cards: A GTS 250 and an older card. They were both huge, loud, hot and full length cards. All of that just to run 3 monitors. The main draw to this card for me was that it could run 3 monitors on 1 card. Works great! I was able to reduce the temp in my case, reduce my wattage consumption, quiet down the sound of the box and serve three monitors at maximum resolution with no issue. Very pleased with this card.

The only oddity I had is that on one of my 3 identical monitors the card mis-interpreted the refresh rate. I had to manually adjust it but after that everything has been smooth sailing!

I purchased this because of the small form-factor to use in a mini-ITX build. It works fantastically for that purpose. I haven't had any heat problems with it, even given the cramped quarters in the small case.

I've been playing Borderlands 2, Bioshock Infinite, and Dead Space 2 recently with absolutely great results. Right now this is probably the best bang for your buck card on the market if you really don't want to break the bank. Are there better cards out there? Yes, but you would have to drop a couple hundred more to get them.

This card was at the sweet spot of price and performance and since I have a Giga motherboard it seemed like a good match. Ever since installing the card, WIndows freezes from time to time and also blue screens. Running the latest drivers. When it works it good but the very stable Windows 7 is suffering.

I bumped the clock up a little more. It only hits 68F on FC3 at Ultra setting. FC3 Runs @35FPS. Great card. I'll take a giant fan and heatsink over a pretty case everyday of the week :)

I use this 650 TI through the HDMI connection in my HTPC that is connected to a Panasonic VT65 and am happy with the results... until I power off the screen and have to jump through hoops to get the TV detected properly again.
I know this is a result of Nvidia holding tightly to the handshake protocol for the HDMI interface and I know I can use the DVI interface that does not do the handshake... but, In my opinion, it should just work, like my older AMD 4250 onboard video that never failed to detect the connection in the exact same situation.
That being said.
This preforms well in all my tests while offloading the cpu for all my HD content.
The small form factor fits nicely in my Silverstone case.
The fan is very quiet while in use.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a video card, even those looking for a card for their HTPC.

(Edit 1July2013)
OK the DVI to HDMI adapter does not work as expected. My computer just detects another HDMI. I am still happy with the card but was hoping for a simple solution to the detection issue.

I was able to create a batch file using the devcon tool from Microsoft and this guide:

superuser.com/questions/115232/how-to-reset-video-display-drivers-in-vista-without-restarting-os

I then mapped that to my keyboard so that with the touch of 2 buttons my display is detected again preventing me from having to disconnect the cables to try to get a good handshake again.

I have 2 of these cards and they are great. They not the highest end stuff but they run most games at max settings just fine.
