Upgrade the AMD 7570 1GB video card on my Dell XPS 8500 to this GTX 660 ti and WOW, what a difference. Installaition was a breeze, loaded new drivers and was up and runing in less than 5 minutes. Running flawlessly on the stock 460W power supply. This bad boy powers through any game I can throw at it on max out ultra settings. Runs nearly as fast as a GTX 670 at $100 less.

I bought this card for a new Hackintosh system that I was building. My previous system had an AMD 6870, which had worked great in both the Windows and Mac environments. The 660 Ti has been a great upgrade for my rig. It works natively in the OSX side of my machine with very minimal tweaking needed to enable OpenCL, and on the Windows side has greatly improved my gaming. Titles like Sleeping Dogs and Guild Wars 2 look and play great at very high settings.

The recent trend to equip video cards with blow-by fans instead of caged fans which ventilate out of the case come from the availability of High Airflow cases, in which air does not stay in the case longer than a second or two. If you have a case with fewer than four 8-inch fans, get one of the cards with a cage fan which blows directly out of the case.

In my HAF case, this card works beautifully and never gets hot. Already overclocked a bit, it runs perfectly stable.

Installed the GTX 660ti into my Dell 8300 without event. Go to the NVIDIA website for the most up to date driver. Go to Studio 1 Productions to activate Adobe's Mercury Engine for Premiere CS 5.5 or CS 6.0 or After Effects. The site has a downloadable sniffer that finds the new GPU and makes it available to Premiere, etc. Nonlinear video production is my primary use for the card, but I'm sure it screams as a gaming card as well. It is as quiet as the wimpy card that came with the Dell. Highest recco just after installation and initial testing, I will update if there are any future problems.

Using the 306.23 Driver, direct from nVidia, this card will not run Crysis 2 at the default GPU clock of 1032MHz without crashing. I had to dial it back to the 'normal' GTX 660 Ti GPU clock of 915MHz in order for the game to run reliably. Disappointing. Otherwise, this is a good piece of hardware. Quiet, efficient and fast!

EDIT(12/1/2012): The problem above has been fixed with the recently released 310.64 driver. I am upgrading my review to 5 stars from 3.

With the 660 Ti I can run any modern game at max (Skyrim looks amazing!!) and still have room to spare.

I looked a larger and way more expensive cards, but this one takes home the prize. I will be using this card for a long time to come.

I paid a great price for this product and had very easy step by step instructions and installed easily. I went from 12fps to 50fps and the graphics are maxed on Aion with no issues. My son purchase the one manufactured by MSI and it gets a little better fps because its overclocked a little more but its also noisier. This product is quiet and the graphics are just stunning or as my son would say there sick mom.
